Why can Stardock Central update Stardock programs without requiring a restart, but the downloaded installers can't?

I see that Stardock Central is no longer supported.

Hey folkz - it has been awhile that I have used any of my Stardock software, I never used it much or often as so often gave issues on my computers with other applications as I recall. Currently I want to save and transfer all the Stardock stuff I have onto a flash drive, but cannot remember how to, I wish to reformat and reinstall my xp pro lappy IBM T43.

I first opened My Colours, couldn't see how to save the desktops there, so opened Impulse to try there, my stuff shows, inc. the game ...

Hi,

 

I just reinstalled Windows and for some reason after I reboot my default icon's load in Objetdock.

 

My new icon's wont load, I have to change them manually every time.

 

Win7 Ultimate x64

Fences is activated, v 2.13, but it seems very strange recently, the situation is that fences seems frozen on desktop, I can not create or move fences on desktop, but view->'Lock Fences' is not selected.

Configue Fences poped up, but even I change some options, it does not work.

I try to install / uninstall fences several times, but it still does not work.

My OS is window 8.1, 64. It seems that Operating-system updates and patches were installed recen...

Who can show the settings menu where I can turn off the title bars from auto-hiding?

My install on my other laptop always shows the title bars, but this one only shows when I hover over them.

Clearly, the Chinese market is one to penetrate…and how better to do it than via the Xiaomi 4 – an Android smart phone?

MS revealed the launch of W10 this summer (no specific date, just yet), but also a deal with Xiaomi whereby owners of the Xiaomi 4 will be able to install and test the W10 Technical Preview and give feedback to MS. Very, very smart.

I noticed with Version 2.13 on boot up, the screen is blank, just the desktop background, no icons for about 15-30 seconds running fences. Has anyone else seem this ?

Neil updated the Stars Master .dream today and I wanted to write about it as it’s one of the few dynamic .dreams we have available on WinCustomize. This animated wallpaper displays a field of moving stars that you can configure the number, size, color, and speed of the stars. You can also use your own wallpaper below the stars for a custom look.

It was updated with 21:9 (super wide) screen support and better multiple monitor handling.

Hello team,

I have this problem with Fences and I cannot find any settings that fix it.

Setup:

Windows 8.1 Pro x64
Dual Monitor setup using Extended Monitor Configuration
Fences: 2.13

Problem:

When using Fences, the dual monitor becomes a giant desktop. It does not respect which is my main monitor.

Example, I have my main monitor on the right (External Monitor) and the laptop monitor is secondary on the left.

So I finally got a new machine for school. It came with Windows 8. Problem is with the wifi. I did a system recovery to return the system to it's factory condition. System worked flawlessly, and the wifi worked as it should. After the first batch of updates the wifi would no longer connect. Windows said the settings it had for the network no longer match. So I had to reset the router to get it to work again. Question is why is this happening?
