For some reason, using Chrome, the forums seem to think that no matter how much I type into the "quick reply" box, the reply is null. Strangely, I cannot even get to any other type of reply screen. While often times quoting someone on forums gives you the ability to get to something other than quick reply, here it seems I am now stuck without the ability to reply to anyone on the forums. WindowBlinds and screensaver
I am forced to use Windowsblinds to solve a compatibility problem with a previous version of Windowblinds on Windows 8.1 leaving some background colors changed that is fine now, however my screensaver will not activate with the latest version of Windowblinds loaded and the screensaver works fine in the standard user account without Windowblinds loaded.![]()

Windowblinds causing taskbar to lock up in Windows 8.1
So I've had this problem for months now, been back and forth with Stardock technical support and nothing they suggest seems to fix it. I've used Windowblinds for years and apart from one issue with UAC a few years ago I've never had any big problems with it. But at the end of my tether I've disabled it this morning as I simply cannot fix this issue.

Uninstall
I am trying to update Deskscapes to version 8, but during the uninstall process I get a pop up asking for a program called Deskscapes_public.msi on an installation disk. I do not have an installation disk and installed through the Stardocks Object Desktop installer. The version 8 tells me that I have to uninstall the old version first and stops and I get the same message when trying to install the old version.

Dream files invoking Active Movie Window
Beginning a few minutes ago, when I double-cick on a dream file, in addition to changing my desktop background an Active Movie Window opens displaying the same animation. Deskscape configuration opens the same window but does not change the desktop animation.
Anyone else getting this or know how to turn it off? My google search has revealed nothing useful.![]()

Keurig - Bringing DRM to Coffee
I have a Keurig machine, and I use the refillable K-cups which I fill with whatever coffee I decide to buy at the grocery store. It's much cheaper than the packaged K-cups, and in my opinion, tastes about the same.

Normal icons on my desktop get displaced when a new one is added
The behaviour I am used to seeing when new icons are added is that they go where the foobar copy icon is:

If I had more new icons added (from downloads mainly since I told my browser to save to desktop), they would keep stacking vertically downwards (so the next one would go under the foobar copy).
Unfortunately, Fences changes this behaviour. Watch what happens when I copy and paste an icon (using shortcuts, because right clickin...![]()

Am very pleased to report that WindowBlinds works great with the Windows 10 Tech Preview.
Upgraded from Win8.1, rebooted, and WindowBlinds works fine -- no problems.
I did have to uninstall both Start8 and ModernMix, but I expected it would come to that (in the short run).![]()

Decoder error MPEG-2 on Deskscapes 8
Hello I have downloaded 2 of the Enterprise animated wallpaper and I can say are cool. but I am having trouble with one of them.
The Enterprise animated wallpaper showing the enterprise Dorsal view is having trouble loading to my Deskscape it keeps showing this Error:
The Dream may contain invalid video type or a compatible MPEG-2 video decoder may not be present.

I remember in the old days(Good Old) you had skinners making minimalistic, thin border window blinds with a roll up button. Damn few skinners put the roll up button anymore and it seems thin borders are out. One reason most of my blinds are old.![]()
