Explorer window Colour

No matter which blind I use my "This PC" window plus all of the Drive windows are always white. A lot of the previews for blinds clearly show the explorer windows in a darker shade but not one reclolours my Explorer or drive windows.

I am running Windows 8.1 Update 1 64bit and all my apps/programs are up to date.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Thanks in advance

Alan

I just updated to Firefox 33.0 and now the titlebar is transparent (I can see a blurry desktop through it) and there are no more close/maximize/minimize buttons.

Tried restarting Firefox with add-ons disabled and the problem persists.

Why I Switched to the iPhone 6 from Windows Phone

Back in 2012, I wrote an article called Lumia 920–Best Smartphone I Have Owned.  It’s gotten a nice amount of views and several pages of comments since then, mostly about Windows Phone 8. That was my second time trying a Windows Phone, and after a couple of years with it, I’ve gone back to the iPhone with the iPhone 6 and will most likely stay with that going forward.  I still stand by most of what I said in that article.  The Lumia 920 is a great piece of hardware, and Windows Ph...

Well…the title says it all. Dropbox has “ropBox seems to have bulk reset all accounts appearing on the pastebin leaks, though accounts do not appear to have had their passwords reset as of yet.”

I changed mine, thank you.

In 2012, Stephen Power had a bad accident. His skull, cheek bones, nose and jaw were broken.

He required emergency surgeries (several) which left his nose pushed to one side and eyes not parallel (so he was severely vision impaired.

Last year, though, surgical specialists started working on new techniques using 3D printing at each stage. CT’s built a 3D model of his skull, and using it, the specialists produced parts (implants) to return his face to its original shape. The...

Extrand shows doggy paws

I just installed Extrand theme for WindowBlinds. Love the theme! But when I open up a window, for example, to view my C drive, the background of the pane has a tile pattern of tiny dog footprints. I have a feeling this is not part of the design, as it doesn't seem to match the sci-fi theme.

Do I have a settings configured incorrectly? Would like the paws to not be there.

1.  Add an option to display then name of the icon below the icon itself

2. Add an option to set the color of the tab text (so dark colors could be used for the tab background)

Running Windows 8.1 64; Fences 2.13

Computer is 1.40GHz, 4GB RAM, 125 GB SSD, laptop

When windows starts up, Fences doesn't activate--nor are there any desktop icons--until I right-click on the desktop or start windows explorer. Quick hide is not enabled.

I have tried everything I can think of: starting from registry; starting as task; starting as service; starting as start-up folder link. I have uninstalled---removing every registry reference, folder, and file--...

Hi there!

I love all my windows to be semi-transparent when starting up, and I constantly have to set the transparency for each and every window that starts up, which slow me down. In Actual Transparent Windows, they allow you to do this, but my loyalty's with Stardock.

Therefore, I was wondering if you could add this feature to startup with a certain transparency already set. Then, I can go ahead and make them more or less transparent if I wish?

Thanks
