Can't uninstall
On Windows 8.1. I just renewed my subscription and when I run the older version, 5.12, it says a newer version is available. Then says I have to uninstall it. I went to programs and setting and uninstalled it. Rebooted. It's still listed in the all programs menu and when I try to run it it says it's a trial. When I try to upgrade it it says to uninstall the old one, but it's no longer listed in programs and settings.![]()

I've peeked into advanced color editing in WindowBlinds, but all text is supposed to be gray colored. Can anyone tell me what to look for in the editor to change the numbers so they show up in the Mutopia theme?

Can't move or resize fences
Title says it all, really. I can create new Fences, the double-click feature works, the configure menu appears, everything else works, but I can't select an edge or drag a title bar. Fences are set partly transparent, but that doesn't make a difference. Using the free version on Win7 with two monitors. Any ideas?![]()

This may have been asked before, but since I just purchased a new laptop with Windows 8 on it, what Object Desktop apps (besides the obvious, Start 8, Decor 8, and Deskscapes), are compatible and can be used on this new OS? sell crypt on ebay?
A close friend in selling an above ground crypt. New, not used, (smile)! Its in a mausoleum, so its not portable. I have never been to ebay. Is ebay an appropriate and viable venue in which to auction off this crypt? Advice?

Hello,
generally i want the dock to appear when the mouse touches the edge of the screen. I use it all the time. But in some programs the work area is near the edge, so the dock comes to foreground all the time while working. Therefore it would be great to have a hotkey to quickly disable/enable this feature.

Registered Fences keep asking for product key every several days
I am a proud owner of Fences.
But on Windows 8 every several days I get pop-up message from Fences that I have to enter product key,
purchase product key or to start 30 day trail.
So every time I have to log-in to Stardock to copy/paste product key and succesfully activate Fences.
Fences is wonderful, but how do I solve this registration problem?![]()

The Falling Skies Thread
There are very few shows I watch on TV, but probably my favorite that I wait for each year is Falling Skies which is on TNT.

One of the more annoying trends in our society has been the substitution of action with rhetoric. This has really taken off in the age of Twitter where people think hashtags are a replacement for actually doing something.
Today I read an Opinion Piece on Polygon called “No Skin thick enough: The daily harassment of women in the game industry” It’s a good piece and one I think you should read....![]()
