Hello.. I just purchased DeskScapes 8 for my Win8.1 custom PC, but I notice there's barely any dreams that are high resolution.. So I got the thought that maybe I should create my own. I came to the forum to see how this might be done, but I can't seem to find that information anywhere. Black backgrounds with blurry text
I purchased Windowblinds, Modernmix, and Start8 and everything is working good except when I open an explorer window the background is all black and icons inside the window are all distorted and blurry. Here is a screenshot:

Icons (still, but only occasionally) falling out of fences (Win 8.1)
Dear all / Stardock
The (very) old problem persists, albeit only occasionally: I have a fence down on the left side of my screen, and several fences across the middle of the screen, and sometimes operations on items in the middle fences, or, I think, on the general desktop, cause icons in the left fence to keep their position but drop behind their fence, or to jump to a difference fence.
Evidently this is a breakage in basic functionality and, thus, fairly serious.
Please help...![]()

as a long time customer and subscriber I PLEASE want an honest answer if ObjectDock is still in development or not and if it EVER will work right on 64-bit systems (shortcuts always pointing to c:\program files (x86)) problem. I am really sadly tired of the update politics and public relations on this matter at Stardock at the moment (again). Seen too many good SD-programs going down the drain I relied on (aka DesktopX / RightClick...).
A general update-plan would be great and also a n...![]()

collected images to start skinning
This is my first step into the skinning world. I've bought WindowBlinds and it came with skinstudio 8.
I've got my idea for my theme and my graphics programs to edit images.
Where I choke is setting up the images. I wish I had a folder of all the base images used in a basic skin. Then I could just replace the images... Something to just get my foot in the door as it were.
Is there anything like that out there? Surely someone has made a .zip file like this?

Can ObjectDock launch 64bit apps from a folder yet?
I have never been able to launch a 64bit application from a folder shortcut in ObjectDock. Is this possible?
Explanation:
I use the 64 bit version of FireFox (named Nightly). It is installed at "C:\Program Files\Nightly\firefox.exe".
I have a shortcut to the executable in a folder named "Internet". The shortcut target is "%ProgramW6432%\Nightly\firefox.exe -p Nightly -no-remote". This shortcut works fine when double-clicked.

Need some Antivirus Techie advice
In my house for a long time we've all used Norton Antivirus however Now I'm hearing it may not be the best solution? So I'v heard of other antivirus programs but I'm not sure which is the way to go. Currently I have Mcaffe installed on our computers because we got it for free from comcast. But is there something better?
