trying to force folder refresh

I have some folder portals that point to areas located on an encrypted drive. When someone logs in the drive is mounted, but Fences runs first. Because the target folders don't exist, it shows a blank folder, which makes plenty of sense.

I'm trying to devise my own solution to this but so far nothing I've tried is working. I can't get fences not to run when I startup the computer, so I can't delay it being run. I tried calling the fences.exe file with /disable and then /en...
