Something changed....and I can now run WB whilst FSX is loaded.  Must be the update to the card driver...

Dark skins are almost always problematic.... but they look good...

So...what's on yours? ...

There is a feature in Fences that is driving me crazy. Apparently it supports multiple screens--shows 3 dots at the bottom to show which one we're on. I don't want multiple screens, and I'm unable to move all icons to one screen. Why isn't this feature noted on the configuration? Above all, how can I turn it off? Many thanks for your help.

I just installed Fences 2.0 'over' Fences Pro without removing Fences Pro. After a reboot every thing seems to work fine. But I just found when you create a folder portal, icons are appearing without any text. So you do not have a clue what's in it. Also text is missing when you select details from the view menu. I use a black background and probably the text is also in black. The text only appears if one clicks just near a icon for a rename. On the other hand the normal fences are o...

When I create a new portal, the background is black and the filenames are also black (and so cannot be seen). I've tried playing with appearance and opacity, but while Fences will change the background color/opacity of the header background and its letters, it will not change the black in the box itself.

Hello!

I'm very interested in to purchase Object Desktop Plus, but would like to know from you, who uses the software, if is it very "heavy". Does it consumes too much resources? Does it causes some slowness on PC, for example?

I have the below configuration:

- Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bits

- Intel Core i5 2300 processor

- 4 GB DDR3 RAM

- NVIDIA GTX 460 GDDR5 1 GB graphics card

Recently, a problem appeared when using window dragging animations.

When they are enabled (both WindowsFX style or Compiz style), if you move a window almost to the topmost part of the screen, the contect of the window gets invisible and the window shows whats on the background-desktop. Also sometimes I get flickering windows.

 

So the computer finally is showing it's age

It's taken me awhile to start this thread, sorry. I know this may end up in flame wars. Again I am sorry.

So everyone knows my situation. Well those close to me on this site do. My computer is finally showing signs of how old it truly is. Keep in mind my computer has a Pentium 4 processor so I am guessing this setup to be almost ten years old. The problem, even after a few friends helped me here with a new hard drive and more memory, is the rest of the system. The processor can't keep...

hi, i'm testing stardock object plus. it's very beautifull application. i organized all my files, link and web page bookmark with this tool. All is more clear and efficently but.....

the program crash and i loose my configuration. now there is a reset at each restar:

- is it possible to return at the precedent working configuration? 

- it's necessary a backup-synch functionality; import-export possibility;

- it will be wonderfull is it is possible to share the object...

Just upgraded to fences pro in order to have the ability to arrange icons within a fence.     It appeared on your fences page that this was one of the benefits of the getting the upgraded version.

However, it looks like there is no way to do this, and I am forced to use one of the default windows sort options inside the fence.   Is this correct?

The update incorrectly identified Windows system files as being malware, and prevented these critical .exe and .dll files from running.

As you can imagine, this caused serious problems. That faulty update has been yanked and fixed, so you can allow your software to update.

A repair/fix tool was issued within hours.

I recently installed two new programs, FENCES being one of them. Immediate problems cropped up so I uninstalled one program and rebooted - no change, problems still evident. Now would like to uninstall FENCES but am completely baffled as to how to do it. Nothing seems to work, can't find it listed on running software and the file labeled UNINSTALL in the STARDOCK subdirectory fails to execute. SO . . . how do I get rid of this program???

I can't drag and drop desktop icons, I have the latest version of Fences installed. When I click and drag them the round circle with a line through it appears. Thanks!

I really LOVE the program START8 with Windows 8. I rarely ever buy software anymore because Sourceforge always has great free software that is excellent. I even used another similar program that emulated Start Button/menu that I got from there but Start8 was much much better. Anyway I tried another program called ObjectDock.
