My programs (apparently no preference for one app or another) are constantly becoming pinned on top inadvertently. Even if I turn the context menu option off in WindowFX, it still happens regularly. I have to middle click the title bar to flip it to the app information to un-pin it. Is there some hotkey I'm activating? ![]()

Help building, or buying a desktop
Well im thinking about buying a desktop for 1050$ what i found on the internet so far is i can get m2 240 ssd, 1 terabyte harddrive, 7th generation i 7, 32 gigs ram, but no graphics card.Also, is a better generation chip example 7th vs. 6th generation, do i go for the higher generation, or is a 6th generation if it means i get a graphics card for gaming. Not to mention were talking about galactic civilizations 3 crusades. 32 gigs of ram better if i get a seventh generation i7 processor, or is a ...![]()

New icons go to Monitor 1 instead of Main monitor
Hi. I'm using Fences 3.03.
When I create a new icon in desktop (say save a .txt file), it goes to monitor with Identifier 1 instead of Main monitor configured in Windows.
Afaik is not easy, perhaps impossible to change display's identifiers in Windows. What can I do to get those new icons into my Main Screen instead of monitor with id=1?
I use to have that monitor switched off, and is annoying to switch it On only to drag a new icon to my main view.

How to Disable Fences?
How do I disable Fences? I went to the Task Manager in the startup I disabled fences restarted and it was still there and still disabled in Task Manager. I used the Deactive within Fences and all it did was asked me for my password and was still on.

BugSplash Error
Hi,
I had been using Stardock Fences free trial for around 30 day's and was rather pleased with it. I appreciated the multiple desktop sliding feature as well as it keeping everything organised and in place/tidy. It truely is a perfect piece of software I highly recommend, and I did!
So I went ahead and purchased the product "Fences" and continued to use it as normal like I had been until one day, I boot up my PC and I get a "BugSplash Error". Now at first I thought of a virus, but these are...![]()

I must ALT+ Left for fences to appear
Hello,
I am new to Fences and I like the software package so far. One problem I've encountered is when I start Windows 10 the Desktop loads without my fences and when I Alt+left, a few white dots appear (Desktop pages) and I must navigate to the leftmost page to find my fences. I don't have any virtual desktop and even when I move (relocate) fences to the rightmost page (starting point) on the next startup everything is on the leftmost page. How can I fix this? ICONS
I have just had to reinstall Windows 10 because of a "blue screen" failure. I have re-installed Fences (v1.01.143). Now, I cannot move desktop icons. I uninstalled Fences and icons can be drag around the screen. I re-installed Fences and, again, icons cannot be moved, rendering Fences useless. Is there a fix?![]()

A different kind of skinning.SOLVED
So this is where I'm at. Skinning on a screen is pretty good, you can make all kinds of stuff. Images on a screen. For a long time now I've been thinking of getting back into 1: A life long passion and 2: Another kind of passion. In my profile it says I like building models and playing with electronics. Desktop Grid Layout is off
Hello people,
I have been using Fences for a long time. And it always worked perfect, I am really happy with the tool.
But since I have reinstalled Fences, the whole desktop grid is off.
The magnetic tool of Fences does not work right too, the border of the fences overlap each other for like 10 pixels.

Fences open behind other windows
I roll-up my fences so I just have the title bar showing at the top of my screen. When I click on it, the fence opens up behind the window(s) I have open on my screen. Can I make the fence contents open in front of other windows? I can't find a setting for that but I may be missing something.![]()

Curved Monitor
Just wondering what you all think of curved monitors? I just got a 27" Samsung with the curve. So far I like it. At first I noticed the curve but It's getting to the point I don't notice it. They say you get a more immersive experience. I don't know about that but it's sure nice on the eyes and the extra real estate on the desktop is great! I'd give this monitor A+![]()
