I've had this problem for a couple of months now, and unfortunately can't remember exactly when or under what circumstances it started. After setting my laptop screen background to the "Cool Blue" color and going about my business, the color seems to arbitrarily and randomly suddenly revert to the default Black color. I then have to go into Settings and reset it. Sometimes, when it seems to be starting to happen (a couple icons or one of my Fences changes) I seem to be able to head it off by doi...![]()

Automatic update folder
Hello, i'm new to fences, and the first thing that i've noticied, is that the fence from a folder, is not updated when a new objet is in this folder. Like i've make a download folder, make it in fence, and when i have completed download, the new file doesn't appear in the fence. Is there a way to have it automatic ? cause it's possible to do it with a right click

Hanging delays (Win 7, 10)
I've noticed a couple of similar complaints of Object Dock, slow/hanging & lag. I currently am using Windows 10 but this 'hanging-lag', which comes after launching an app from Object Dock, or attempting to launch an item with Object Dock not responding, like it's writing to itself or something is just not correct.

Subscription list wiped, Cannot disable email notifications
Title.
I had over 40 subscriptions, they disappeared from my list a little over a week ago. I cannot disable email notifications for two of the 5 posts I have added to my clean slate list.
Have tried a hard refresh without results.
What small animal would you suggest I sacrifice to appease the gremlins?![]()

An Update To Windowblinds 8
I purchased Windowblinds many moons ago. I hadn't used it in a long while and decided recently to pull it out and install. In the main program I clicked the ? next to the setup gear icon and selected not to receive updates weekly.
About once an hour, I am getting a pop-up telling me there is an upgrade to Windowblinds8. Quite honestly, I have no interest in upgrading. How do I kill this pop-up?![]()

View Mode in Folder Portals
I have a folder portal.
The view mode I setted to "List" and ordered the collums.
Now, when I navigate in this folder portal, the vie mode for subfolders is "normal icons" and not "List".
Please add an option to make the view settings for the main folder of a folder portal for all subfolders in this folderportal too.
Or is it there already a way to do this? I searched the whole regestry, but there aren't keys and values for Default view mode for folder portals.

Visual Studio crashes on launch if using WindowBlinds
If I disable WindowBlinds, Visual Studio starts fine.
I've excluded devenv.exe - "Ignore this application and don't skin it". After re-activating WindowsBlinds and rebooting - VS still crashes on launch.

Advanced setting is grayed out
Hello,
in the windowsblind advanced options there is the option "I want the styles to be able to apply textures on the back of windows explorer"
This option is unfortunately grayed out.
Is it available only if a style has provided for it?
Or is it a problem with windows 10?
Does anyone know how to activate this option?
In the end I would have liked to be able to put transparency on this background.

Fences Tech Support
So, this is gonna be a bit of a weird one. Basically, my brother bought a new computer and decided instead of selling his old one off, he'd give it to me. It arrived, I installed it, booted it up and all seemed well. Thing was, Fences was looking a bit funny. They were all in the wrong places and scattered across my dual monitor setup. I figured, okay, let's delete and recreate them in the right places. Nope, the top of them is cut off beyond the top of my monitor, as well as the task bar on mon...![]()

So Fences just broke somehow
Moved a file that was in a fence to another location outside of the fence (on another drive) and suddenly Fences along with all the items in them totally vanished, along with the fences themselves (ie blank desktop).Pulled up the Fences config panel, and when I disable Fences my files/icons all come back (obviously with no Fences around them), and enabling Fences causes them to all vanish again (no icons, no fences).Looking at the contents of my desktop show all the items that are there, so they...![]()

Fences Restore Snapshot not working
Hey Guys,
I think Windows 10 updated overnight and now Fences lost a recent layour (that I've had for at least a month or more) and everytime I restore a snapshot from yesterday, it reverts back to the prior layout in under a second.

Visual Studio 2017 Community Edition
I installed Visual Studio 2017 Community Edition (VS17C), but it would crash on startup. This looked like a failure when VS17C tried to first open its IDE window. I discovered that when I unloaded WB that VS17C would startup just fine. Curiously, if I then restarted WB, VS17C had no further issue until the next computer boot. I tried several WB skins, but all had this issue until I first unloaded WB. I read the first pinned post about trying a Stardock released skin (Diamond, Win8, Win8 Metro), ...![]()
