 Hello all,

Fences is broken by the latest round of updates. When I try to run Configure Fences, I get the error message shown in the title.

Have done all the usual clean, uninstall, clear registry, reinstall tricks, no luck.

Anyone had luck fixing this problem?

I hate that every time MS pushes updates, tons of SW breaks.

I was favorably impressed with Star Trek: Discovery tonight.  It wasn't great, but it's a good start, and given the chance I'll watch more.  A couple of negatives:

I had Fences working on this PC for several weeks.  Suddenly last week, I got a pop up error message stating that "Fences has detected that Explorer was not closed properly ... and has been disabled"  

I've tried the"Enable Fences" numerous times.  I have rebooted numerous times.  I have reinstalled Fences.

Nada.

When I boot up, the Fences appear - then the screen blanks, and the Fences disappear and I get the message.  My links are still grouped like in th...

I've routed all new documents to a specific folder before, so I would be able to categorize them later.  I don't remember how to do it.  Help?

up until about 2 months ago my sound packager was working fine but after adding a new partition it it now closes stating there is some kind of problem.

is anyone one else encountered this and if so how did you "fix" it?

Hi when i run cursorfx i can apply the effects but when i open startbar the mouse cursor is not shown but i can move it and the item is selected but the mouse cursor is not showing when i move the cursor out from startbar i can see mouse cursor,same issue on taskbar and in cortana and in tray.

 

any fix or it

i am on latest w10 16299.19 update

So what are your feelings about latest iPhone?

 

Personally, i would indeed like to have it, it looks mighty fine. Would take it over iPhone 8 for sure, which now looks pretty obsolete. That price though - 1200 EUROs over here... i still use iPhone 5S, which i bought 3 years ago and it cost me 830 EUROs. Already that was expensive...now 3 years later, another 400 more? Where does this end?

This whole process has been very frustrating for me.  A few days ago I purchased Object Desktop.  I have yet to use it as I see no way to download it.  My sales receipt says to click on the "MY DOWNLOAD" link, which I did.  Brings me to My Download on the site, which tells me that it will show here after I download the software.  I tried to click the "Get it NOW" button but it just wants me to give my charge card number again.  I have downloaded and install Object D...

It would be really nice to have an option for Fences where you don't need to be able to see the shortcut name in certain fences. ESPECIALLY folder portals. I just started using Fences, and maybe it's already possible, but I went pretty deep through the settings and couldn't find anything.

Like I created a very nice "Games" folder with icon's that look like the DVD cover of the game, so I do not also need the shortcuts name underneath them. It would look a lot cleaner without text.

Hello, i'm new to fences, and the first thing that i've noticied, is that the fence from a folder, is not updated when a new objet is in this folder. Like i've make a download folder, make it in fence, and when i have completed download, the new file doesn't appear in the fence. Is there a way to have it automatic ? cause it's possible to do it with a right click

Hi,

I have upgraded my Fences 2.0 to 3.0 to work with Windows 10 my I am having a glitch.

Whenever I hit "Win + D" to show the Desktop the service explorer.exe seems to crash and restart:
