Hello,

I would like to rollback to the older version of Windowblinds10 (10.62) because the 10.65 version breaks 2 games (Call of duty Black Ops3  and the new Call of Duty WW2). 

If I stop the WindowBlinds service, the games work fine.  However, once the service is restarted, the games no longer start.

This phenomena only began with the latest Windowblinds.

Is there a link I an find where I can download the previous version?

Good day Everyone!
I just recently updated to Windows 10 Creators Update. After the update, I'm experiencing a sort of delay whenever I clicked on anything on my desktop. Clicking the icons, right clicking. Everything has a delay on it.

So I tried disabling Fences and voila! Instant response. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Fences, but performance is still the same.

 

Using Fences 3.0.4.12

Any help or suggestions would be truly appreciated. Thank you!

In WindowBlinds10 theme colour settings or in SkinStudio10, where it is the option to change the colour or to replace the background image of file and folder collision dialogs in Windows?, you know, the dialog that is shown when you try to copy or move a file or folder that already exists in the target folder.

Please, try to explain good the steps to go to the desired option, because I'm new to Windowblinds / SkinStudio.

Since Season 2 of Stranger Things has aired I thought some people would like to discuss the show to this point.

If games can have thread like this, TV shows deserve one of their own too...

Personally i watched:

 

12 Monkeys:  not the best show ever and on occasion bit of a míndfuck, but overall i enjoyed and look forward to second season. I am sure many people would hate it, pick plotholes and whatonot and granted, it has its weaknesses, but its a show that makes you actually think, what is going on and guess, what might happen next. That is always a good thing in my book.

Unable to uninstall fences

So i have a big problem with fences currently. I am not able to uninstall fences in any way possible. It doesnt even appear in the installed programms list. Manually starting the uninstall.exe just yields a error message. Reinstalling fences in the smae location doesnt fix the problem. Still no entry in the programs list.

But it still starts and works. How is this possible.

And i dont want to reinstall my whole computer because of this....

when i try to log in it says account validation is required and to click a link. i validated my account with stardock but can't log into wincustomze without seeing that error message. but i can still log into stardock.

1) Go to 'Change system colors' when using a skin with more than one substyle.

2) Scroll down and take notice that System Color: ExplorerBackground, ExplorerBackgroundText, and ExplorerFolderBarBackground are listed.

3) Change to the next substyle.

4) Scroll down and take notice that they are gone.

5) Switch back to the first substyle. Take notice that they are gone here now, too.

Please fix this.

Anyone of the resident HW enthusiasts going to upgrade to upcoming AMD Threadripper or Intel i9? If yes, which one are you looking at?

Personally, i was thinking about sticking to my last year´s setup with 6-core Intel CPU, but the upgrade bug gets stronger the more i read about it Now i consider getting the CPU and new mobo and switching just 2 of those for my current ones, keeping the rest of the rig the same - which i think should be no issue. I will probably go Intel way, unless AM...

Unless I'm missing something obvious, is there a vertical snapping feature with pixel setting ?

It snaps horizontally no problem, position and size but when I move vertically, it's smooth and non snapping.

Have I missed something in the options? (I suppose i could just make a grid or get a grid and apply it as desktop wallpaper and use that as a guide but vertical snapping would be much easier obviously.

As the title and subtitle say.

If I try to drag an icon around on my desktop (like try to drag 1 to a fence) it drags EVERYTHING. All the fences and icons on my desktop.

I've tried drawing a box around 2 icons and dragging them. I've tried left clicking on 1 icon to select it and then dragging it.

Why is there not a simple "Lock fence" checkbox?

 

The only fix I have found is setting the fence I want the icon in as "place all new icons in this fence by default" open windows e...

Windowblinds writes to the firefox user profile folder every time it is run. It overwrites the userChrome.css with the file ff.css from the windowblinds folder, I want to skin Firefox but i don't want some program writing to my user files without my permission.

This is even MORE important in Firefox 57 which makes it so the ONLY way to change things for a user is now userChrome.css in the profile/chrome folder. The extensions can no longer write to another extension.

My question is wtf is ...

I'm getting a new desktop ready to be my main computer and will uninstall my programs from my old computer. What's the best way to transfer Object Desktop and the installed programs AND settings from my old computer to the new computer? (Transferring settings is way important to me. I don't like to use any transfer programs because of driver differences.)

I'm running Fences 3, ShadowFX, Start10, and WindowsFX 6. Both computers are Windows 10 Pro.

Hi all,

I've looked all over the internet and re-installed the CursorFX program so many times, I just cant get this issue to permanently stop. 

So far, I have found a tiny quick-fix that only works until you switch your PC off.  (log off and log back in)

I am using Fences version 3.0.5.12 (paid) on Windows 10 Enterprise. When I move the mouse over the desktop, there is very high hard drive activity. It starts and stops as the mouse starts and stops.

This appears to have been an issue in Fences V2. Disabling Desktop Pages fixes it, but removes a feature.
