Hello all, Win 7 user here (should probably bite the bullet and go Win 10) I have a particularly annoying issue. This happens with pretty much any skin I use. As you can see in the screenshot, the Right edges and title bars don't line up. I can re-apply the theme, which will temporarily fix it, but it'll eventually break again. While it doesn't completely ruin the functionality other than I can't resize on those edges, it just looks pretty bad.

Anyone have a clue what may be causing this?

WindowBlinds uses the wrong registry type when enabling/disabling "Apply accent colour to backgrounds (recommended)" under WindowBlinds > Settings.

The registry key in question that is changed:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize]

"ColorPrevalence"

The type of this key should be a REG_DWORD with a value of 0x00000000 (0) or 0x00000001 (1), but WindowBlinds changes this registry key to the REG_SZ type with a value of 0 or 1, dependin...

Hi

I have been a Stardock customer for many years both personally and as an IT Manager where I had Fences and Start8 installed on many company PC's.  I have never really had any issues with Fences until the previous update when it was impossible to drag icons into rolled-up fences.  You subsequently fixed this but this latest update is so annoying.  Here is a list of the problems I am experiencing with the latest update:

Hi all 

Samsung Netbook W8.1  8 GB RAM  plenty storage, all updated and nicely spinning.

Had Fences 1.0 running (installed it way back in 2013 and forgot about) but decided to try and install 2.0 for kicks. Newer = better, no?

Uninstalled Fences 1.0 first, saved settings, installed Fences 2.0 Free Trial 

Setup the Fences as usual. Then found that onze in place Icons  cannot be dragged around as they used to on this and my other desktops, laptop etc.

just purchased Deskscapes, and installed. attempted to change my desktops and it doesn't work at all. my current background stays the same, no error message. I do notice that I get the spinning "loading" cursor on my mouse, and in the taskbar a small window appears with the deskscape logo for a split second and then disappears.

12 Monkeys:  not the best show ever and on occasion bit of a míndfuck, but overall i enjoyed and look forward to second season. I am sure many people would hate it, pick plotholes and whatonot and granted, it has its weaknesses, but its a show that makes you actually think, what is going on and guess, what might happen next. One of the most regular types of post on these forums come from people who didn't realise Object Desktop (and its kin) are subscription software. Responses to such posts vary from the polite to the patronising.

Hi

Running Fences 3 on Win 10 Insider Preview. It worked fine on my laptop, before my laptop dies. Installed it on my Desktop and it installs with three fixed fences. I cannot delete any of them. Cannot create a new fence, Cannot move them at all. Any ideas

Currently I have Uninstalled Fences because it's no use in its current configuration.

After installing Fences 3.03 on Windows 10, every time while showing the desktop (by using Win+D or pressing show desktop button), Windows explorer crashes and then restarts.

We could observe the desktop is re-drawn and sometime there will be a dialog saying Fences cannot be loaded.

I don't think it'll be addressed because other users seem to have been requesting the same thing for the last 7 years, but is there any reason why Fences ignores and overrides my Windows 10 settings to disable all animations?

Without Fences installed moving an icon on the desktop happens instantaneously.  With Fences installed an animation is applied - the icon goes back to where it was originally and animates from that starting position back to where I just dropped it.  Apart from ...
