Just wondering what you all think of curved monitors? I just got a 27" Samsung with the curve. So far I like it. At first I noticed the curve but It's getting to the point I don't notice it. They say you get a more immersive experience. I don't know about that but it's sure nice on the eyes and the extra real estate on the desktop is great! I'd give this monitor A+![]()

Quicklaunch dock sometimes will not un-hide
I have the dock at the top of my screen with autohide turned on. Some days it will not un-hide. Makes it useless as a quick way to launch a program. Is there a fix? I am using the current 64bit Windows 10.![]()

Auto upgrade
I have windows 8 and will never upgrade to 10. The recent update to fences 3.5.111 is not fully compatible with Windows 8. I get artifacts, screen flickers, transparency is screwy and bleeding . I went back to 3.1 and everything is fine again. Only thing is it keeps prompting me to update to the new version. How do I disable this?

Turn off checking for updates
Is there a way to disable "Check for Updates"?
I have clicked for the program to go ahead and download/install update. It restarts the PC after it supposedly installs, however it hasn't installed and it keeps ask to download/ install.
Fences 3 is running fine for me so I do not really want the update. I would like to disable it, so it quits asking.

Well the bad news didn't stop coming with the new year, as we'd all hoped, and this time it is a lot closer to home for Shaunna and myself.
As some of you would know, Shaunna is in Tasmania visiting with her Daughter, Bianca, and her grandchildren, but sadly this trip hasn't turned out as happy as previous ones. Windows Explorer crashes because of Fences
After installing Fences 3.03 on Windows 10, every time while showing the desktop (by using Win+D or pressing show desktop button), Windows explorer crashes and then restarts.
We could observe the desktop is re-drawn and sometime there will be a dialog saying Fences cannot be loaded.

Feature Request
In Windows 10 the taskbar and start menu have the ability to automatically change colors based on the wallpaper. It would be nice if Fences did the same thing, especially for people like myself who have the wallpaper set to slideshow. There are times when the "fence" disappears and it hard to see the outline.

According to the "Sorting and organizing" section I do have a Fence named "Images" but it is no where to be found.

ObjectDock background blur effect on Windows 10
I understand Windows 10 is now supporting background blurs as we can see in Calculator app. Is there any plans to support blur in Object Dock backgrounds?

Icons cannot be dragged anymore

Samsung Netbook W8.1 8 GB RAM plenty storage, all updated and nicely spinning.
Had Fences 1.0 running (installed it way back in 2013 and forgot about) but decided to try and install 2.0 for kicks. Newer = better, no?
Uninstalled Fences 1.0 first, saved settings, installed Fences 2.0 Free Trial
Setup the Fences as usual. Then found that onze in place Icons cannot be dragged around as they used to on this and my other desktops, laptop etc.
