Fences loosing icons
Occasionally an icon will jump out of a fence. Soon as I click on it the icon will highlight then un-highlight after i let up on the button.Also, after this happens, many times the icon will LOCK in place on my desktop. It will appear to drag, and there will be an icon under my pointer, but the original LOCKED icon is still showing on the desktop...At this point I need to un-check the enable box on the "HOME" tab, wait for a few seconds then wait a good minute until finally all the icons return ...![]()

Slower Desktop Navigation when activating Fences
Hello,
so recently I have bought the regular fences app for my Windows 10 Pro desktop. Everything works like expected while trying the trial version. but here's something i have experienced while using both trial and full version..
when i try to create a folder.. open a folder/icon.. or move a folder. or just make selection with the mouse/cursor. its kinda slow process! I don't know if it's just me but its kinda laggy or unresponsive, here's what i mean:

Version 3.0.5.11 same issues
I just updated to 3.0.5.11 and still have two issues....
1) I have to right click on the desktop to get Fences to show (Or open Windows Explorer - WINDOWS-E)
2) I can single click an icon on the desktop, and it takes 3-4 seconds for it to even highlight. (show that it's selected)....dragging is unbearable. Moving icons on the desktop is painfully slow.
These issues were on the last version, and still this new version....I have a new Alienware Laptop, high end for gaming, with Windo...![]()

Dragging shortcut to unavailable network share when fences running causes explorer process to repeatedly crash
Just purchased Object Desktop mainly for Fences which I used to use on XP. Installed Fences 3.0.5.11 on Windows 10 pro and rebooted. Then I created a fence and started dragging some shortcuts onto it. When I drag a shortcut to a shared UNC folder (e.g. \\servername\folder\ ) that was on a machine that wasn't currently available on the network, The desktop was covered with an semi-transparent light grey overlay and explorer crashed. Fences update corrupted/broke my windows install. Can't boot.

This is the second time that I updated Fences in this year and it is the second time that it corrupts my windows install to the point I have no other option than wipe it clean and start over. At glance, it seems that the problem revolves around srttrail. I tried everything I could find online about recovering windows partitions and installations but nothing worked. Last time I had to format, is there something I could do to recover? Is this problem reported by anyone, I really wante...![]()

WB 10.x doesn't work on Win 7 64?
Well, I replaced WB 7.41 with 10.62 (recommended to fix one particular issue) and the skins are not applied to Win 7. What's that about? I wouldn't have upgraded if I was aware that the new version doesn't seem compatible with Win 7 despite claim on website. And app interface reminded me of why I disliked WB v10.x on my notebook. Ugly blue on white app interface. Nor does WB icon show up in notification area. Is there something I'm missing up running this version?![]()

Was there ever a solution for the icons falling out of their dock when playing a game and coming back to the desktop?

Stardock CursorFX / Plus - unexpected behaviour with WIN 10 creators update using microsoft edge browser
Hi - I have CursorFX Plus and found that when selecting a custom mouse pointer that a few strange things happened in the Microsoft Edge Browser. I am on Win 10 Pro 64 bit. I can launch the browser and click on anything menu related like settings or saved favourite websites, though I cannot click on any content in the main web page content, like hyperlinks or anything. How to stop the taskbar from blurring?
I dislike how the taskbar gets blurry because the programs behind it makes the taskbar texts very unreadable.

Fences 3 update and 95% of my desktop icons, AND files are gone.
Any ideas. File manger shows nothing in desktop, I need these files.

Background of desktop gadgets
Hello Everyone, Please excuse the ignorance of a complete novice but is it possible for someone of my limited knowledge to make the background of a desktop gadget transparent so that the desktop image below it is visible with just the relevant parts of the gadget being visible with your wallpaper in the background.
