I don't know if there are guys among you who would remember that in the olden days, companies used to have a "pipeline" that one put a cartridge in and in the cartridge can be anything from money, documents and even an invitation for a date. One would put that cartridge inside this "pipeline" and the cartridge would steam ahead to its destination...usually a few floor higher....otherwise what would be the point of being too lazy to ...

Hello guys,

I was wondering if you are planning to implement a setting so that  when you hover over a rolled up fence's title bar not to roll it up but immediately but rather wait a bit (3 seconds for example).

I'm using Fences 3.0.3 on Windows 10 with 2 monitors,

My screen layout is [ Monitor 2 ] [ Monitor 1 ], Monitor 1 is my main screen,

but when I create or download files, the new file position always go to Monitor 2,

how can I change the default position to Monitor 1, or disable desktop on Monitor 2?

How about Stardock create an uninstaller tool for it's software so we don't have to go through this hassle and send you error logs.

Since a recent Microsoft Update I started getting "Fences has stopped Working" error messages on my desktop. When I right click in my created fences on the desktop I again get "Fences settings has stopped working" message. Hi All

Just wondered if it is my setup or not but since updating to the latest version of Fences 3 when I drag a shortcut to enter into a rolled up fence it no longer opens the fence to allow you to drop the shortcut into it like it used to do.  I now have to turn off view>rollup, drop in the shortcut and then go back and enable rollup.  Its not a big issue but it is now starting to get on my nerves having to do this.  It worked fine until I did the latest update, nothing el...

Fences has been causing me trouble for a while now as all that ever happens when Windows is launched is the following message:

"Fences does not appear to be Loaded. You may need to reinstall Fences."

That would be ok except that it never launches since the last update to Fences, it was fine before that but now it never starts; and tbh I'm starting to think I was better off without it, since at least before; I was always able to see by desktop icons, whereas now they fail to appear. Definit...

Hi,

Can you please tell me why Fences periodically makes connections to dl.dropbox.com? The only other traffic that I've noticed is to activate.api.stardock.net during the update check.

The easiest way to get rid of the adds in the W10 Start Menu is with Start10.

But say you haven't gotten Start 10 (not here!), there are other places it will appear: Your desktop and file explorer.

Since my last Windows update, Fences does not display the shaded background around my fences. When I look at the screen snapshots, the backgrounds are there, but not when I look at my desktop. How can I get them back? Also, when I double-click my desktop I get a message that Fences needs to be reinstalled, although in a few seconds the full Fences menu appears. I re-downloaded the Fences installer and ran it thinking I'd overwrite the existing install to preserve my settings, but it keeps stoppi...

Hi, 

 

Ive been using fences for ages now, but recently, 2 - 3 weeks, perhaps since a Windows Update, Fences doesnt load. The icons are all over the placv on the desktop.

 

If I right click the desktop, the fences then appear.

 

I have tried reinstalling but makes no difference.

 

Any suggestions.

I'm probably overlooking something simple, basic...but how can I change the sort "style" from (left to right) to (top to bottom)?  ...basically the way Windows would sort desktop item?

When it comes to protecting my windows computer from malicious software, as well as my own identity when shopping online, i take antivirus protection quite seriously.

I've used various antivirus products over the years including Trend Micro, AVAST, AVG, Norton etc and I found them all great in their own ways. Norton was a bit slow, but it seemed to protect my PC quite well.

Any date estimate for a fix for this? It's a pain to have to turn off roll-up, drag the icon, then turn roll-up back on.
