I have a folder portal named "These" and inside it is a file named "These.doc" ; when I click on "open folder" or double-click the window, it opens the Word file instead of the folder.

 

The problem is still here in the latest beta.

I downloaded Fences, paid for it, installed it, configured my fences.  All works well.  Then, the next morning, the fences are gone, the icons are in loose groups on the screen.  The fences icon is on the screen.  I click on it and it allows me to configure Fences, but says the program needs to be reinstalled.  It doesn't stay on the system, except it allows me the configuration panel.  I go to the site, download Fences again, activate it with my code, and all the f...

Ive run Win10 since it came out. I had some software compatibility issues, a bit of a learning curve, but over all it has been fine. I dont have the newest hardware so maybe thats why? I remember windows 95.. That was some terrible software after coming to if from OS2 WARP. OS2 Warp was Win7 before MS had Win95..

Saying "Please unistall he previous version of Fences 2 AND REBOOT..." but I have Fences 3.0.3 installed !

This is what happened: I was working on my Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, Creators Update PC, using FreeHand and inDesign, when I got an update notification and I went ahead and clicked install. When it finished it asked if I wanted to restart or no, I clicked no because I was not able to do it at that time, I thought I'd restart later. When all of the sudden my monitors went black and the computer froze, I had to force restart the PC.

Hello.

Recently purchased ObjectDesktop and applied WindowBlinds10 on a Win7 system. However when I am on Visual studio 2015's text editor, when I put a 'd', the window gets maximized. It doesnt happen with 'D' or any other letter (Tried to put 'D' with both shift and CapsLock to see if it is a key combination or something but it isn't. Need a solution as it gets quite annoying, thanks.

Hey, I've been using fences for a few weeks now,

I've used roll-up fences. They're pretty much the bee's knees. I have, unfortunately, run out of space on the top of my monitors, and swiping to the next window doesn't work on my dual-monitor setup (not that this is the problem anyways, I would like to do the following regardless of whether or not somebody is able to tell me how to deal with this). Heya, long time Fences user, and I've just dished out the 5 dollars to upgrade to Fences 3.0 since 2.0 was starting to behave a little erratically with the Windows 10 Creators Update. I've got a few issues with the behavior of the new version, although I don't know whether it's due to user error or changed / removed features.

#1: Folder Portal Icons

I've always hidden the settings & folder icons at the top left of the folder portals for the sake of cleanliness. I cant find this option ...

Issue happened after update to 3.04

i have multiple fences docked to the top of my monitor with roll up.

When i try to move an icon into these fences the fence does not roll down so that i can place the icon into it.

With update to 3.04 i had the blurred effect for the fences that should only work in Win10.

The problem is that i have multiple monitors with different wallpapers and the the blurred background does not fit to the wallpaper.

Microsoft has scheduled its Windows Creators Edition update to tentatively go live next week, and Stardock’s developers have been hard at work getting our software ready to support it. the log off at the top of the forum page does not appear to be working. One can still find a log off option that works but this particular one doesn't.
