Hi

I'm running Fences 3.0.3 on a Dell XPS15 laptop with a fully up to date Windows 10. I also have a secondary monitor.

Wallpapers are set to a slideshow which means that each monitor changes its background image every few minutes, and the two wallpapers displayed at any moment are not the same.

Unfortunately fences positioned on either monitor always show the background of the most recent wallpaper change, which means that 50% of the time the fence backgrounds are those of the wron...

I am not sure what happened, but I think there might have been an update to windows that has messed up my Start Menu while using WindowBlinds and/or Start10.

I am missing my shut down buttons and the program lists on the left and right hand side are all out of place. I've tried several skins and the issue presists with all of them.  Reboots and unloading / relaunching WB did not corrent the error.

I run MalwareBytes every other day. Today I updated the data-base then ran the scan. When the scan finished MB said it found 705 pups, potentially unwanted programs, 705! Go to details and every file, registry entry, folder etc. that was Advanced System Care had been quarantined! HUH!! Say what!

I ran MB day before yesterday and it did not touch ASC. Now all of a sudden its on MB's hit list. Now I have to reinstall ASC and wonder...if I run MB again will it do the same thing? Suggestions....

   Ok...this is new. I just finished my Steampunk skin for Xion. It installed without a problem. So making a few tweaks to the skin I found it would not update. Tried again and no luck. I thought it was my skin so I went back in and checked it from top to bottom, nothing wrong with it. I closed Xion and reopened it, no change. So I uninstalled Xion, ran Ccleaner, then reinstalled it. No problem with the install. To test it I clicked on a new Xion skin and it failed to install. Clicked ...

I am currently laying out cursors and icons for a new WindowBlind. The animated cursors are all raytraced in POV-Ray 3.7 and assembled using software I wrote. I am still working on the icons to accompany the skin. A preliminary wallpaper has been created using POV-Ray, data from Wikipedia and Google Maps, and a map texture vectorized in CorelDRAW x6. I am trying to recapture the feel of those hacker films of the mid 90s. UI elements will be raytraced as well when I get to that point.

...but I cannot reply to that post.

Is this still an issue with anyone? A fix?

I have had XP and just recently upgraded to Windows 10 computer. The original Fences obviously worked beautifully in XP...LOVE that software.....had no idea that the old version or newer paid versions of Fences would cause problems.

After having upgraded to Fences 3.0.1, I am having problems with the horizontal and vertical space around icons that reside inside a fence. I'm using Windows 10 Pro.

I understand how to change icon spacing in the Windows registry, and after having tweaked that to create the desired horizontal and vertical spacing around icons on my desktop that are not inside a fence, I am dismayed to see that icons inside a fence do not respect those settings. For example, two icons that are side by side...

Got me a Lenovo laptop here. Not sure of the model, I know it's an IdeaPad 110, but they have many 110 models. This one has the Intel Core I3 with 6 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB hard drive. Anyhow, I'm running Windows 10 and have it set to turn off the display after 2 minutes and sleep after 5 on both plugged in and battery. The DesktopX weather widgets are not working AGAIN. Weather Underground did something to their feed so for the past few days the forcast has been disappearing.

Whenever I try to post something using Firefox I get the above message.

I don't get this with other browsers and, I don't have problems with any other sites - just WC.

Hi!

So everytime I restart windows explorer there is about 80% chance "Fences" don't recover (restarts). If I restart explorer once again most of the time Fences starts again ...

If I try to start "Fences" manually after it has failed.

I get  "Fences does not appear to be loaded. You may need to reinstall Fences" (see external link above)

Hi there,

I wanted to give skinning a try on Windows 7 Ultimate, so I downloaded WindowBlinds 10.5 from the official website to try. (As an aside, the installer still reports the program as version 9.5.1.0, so that might need looking at).

Now that Microsoft is nearing the final release of the Creators Update (RS2), where do we stand with a Fences update? The crashing bug seems to be gone from earlier builds, but Folder Portals still do not work correctly:

- The folder view always defaults to Medium Icons and they are all squished together. There's no padding/spacing between them.

- Switching to a list or detail view works, but this setting doesn't persist after reboot. It goes back to the broken Medium Icons view.&n...
