(win 10, surfacebook, latest revs of all the stardock apps (i think...))

So one of the things i was looking forward to with objectdock was the 'docklets' - a decent weather 'let, some system info in the dock, etc.

other than the pitiful few that are included with purchase, i can't find anything.  where are they hiding?  plenty of skins (???) but nothing that DOES SOMETHING.

am i just misleading myself - do they really not exist ?

Opera browser goes into infinite downloading when attempting to dl PDFs.  Continues until exiting Opera completing.  Happens no matter what site I'm in.   When I go to download folder, and delete all but one copy of pdf, then attempt to open it, infinite downloading begins again.  Google-ing it not help.  Anyone know about this?  how fix?

I have a problem with Chrome when using a Windowsblinds 10 skin. I currently run: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.15058], I am on the "Slow" Insider rollout - And the appropriate Windowblinds 10 beta version to make Windowblinds work. When using the "Modern" theme, the chrome button that displays your account/name etc, covers the minimize button.

I have been using objectdock on my old computer with 64 bit windows 10 since windows 10 was released and it has run fine without any hanging or other problems.

 

Now, this week, I have a new pc with a new windows 10  x64 install.  I load ObjectDock and now I have the hanging problem.

 

Very strange...

 

may have overcome my hang problem...

Upgraded the priority of the components of objectdock to the second highest priority in task manager.

I have been using Fences 3 for a while now on Windows 7 but using it on Windows 10 has been a disaster.

Late last year I bought a high end Tablet with W10 Pro 64 bit. It worked like a charm until I installed Fences 3. The first sign of trouble was when the icons disappeared, but the names of the icons still showed in the fences. They were all overlapping each other so they were useless.

Hi,

 

   The title pretty much explains my problem. Any suggestions? I had the same problem on the Windows 10 upgrade as well and am still having it on a "fresh install" option from the previous Windows 10 upgrade ..

 

The windows pretty much scoot over a few pixels every time I open them and I have them all placed where I like them.

No matter if it's an app or an installed program ..

If I unload WindowBlinds it puts the windows back where I had them unl...

Didn't even realise this was a subscription based service...

I purchased Object Desktop awhile ago, never had the need to update it and then upgraded my PC to Windows 10 and decided to check back and see if I could re install Object Desktop on Windows 10, low and behold I paid $50 for a program I cant even DOWNLOAD now, even without the current updates. This is a very poor model, because when I bought it, there was no indication ANYWHERE that it was a subscription based service. You don't pay $30 a year to keep WINDOWS updated or your favorite games, ...

WindowFX and Windowblinds user since more than a decade...

But last few years, I was barely able to use/enjoy the product. After reinstalling my windows, I always think of myself this time I make it clean and beautiful, so I install my object desktop (shadowFX, WindowFX Windowblinds, Fences, IconPackager).

But every time, after realizing how much slowing the system down, make other apps completely useless, I have to turn it off (then it stays like this for months, until I have to reinstall...

Just downloaded WB10, keeps asking me to reboot, that's as far as I ever get, it will not install.  I am running Win10, which it stated it was compatible with before I purchased.

Okay, the title and sub-title pretty much says it all, and I'm really hoping some skinners will take up the challenge to create some original Steampunk skins that rock this planet and several others.

After every reboot my Fences are corrupted.  In Fences that contains more icons that can be displayed in the area I have designated, icons simply spill out of the Fence. Restoring a snapshot does nothing.  Uninstall and reinstall does nothing as well.  Also, when the Fences are hidden the icons remain.  This is true even though the icons are in the Fences.  Moving a Fence moves the entire group of icons with it.  The only solution is to empty the Fences and then rep...

While I was typing out my post, I tough of a solution.  I deleted all of the videos within the folders that had been selected by DeskScapes 8.  This seems to be the root of my problem.  I decided to post this anyway in hopes that it will help others with the same problem.

i love fences.
but i feel bad experience one thing.
fences support 'Folder Navigation'
you return to previously folder, click a '↑' left side on folder name.
this is annoying.
so i wish using this navigation with mouse button 4&5.
would you please?
