Is this the end of human cultural progress?
This is a purely speculative post. I don't have the answers, but I have questions.
I was talking with a friend. He said he believed all music that was worth listening to was already created. I kind of agreed. We have classical music, rock, punk, grunge, heavy metal, electronic, instrumental and even awful music like dubstep.
I think the era is gone when a piece of music could influence a generation and stand the test of time.
In short: I don't expect to hear anything new ...![]()

6502 : Work in Progress.
An homage to the MOS 6502 and 8-bit computing.
I've created 2 true type fonts and a full set of icons so far for this one. I may need a third font before the end is reached. All images are done using the Commodore 64 16 color palette. Lots of hand drawn pixel art in this one. The wallpaper was assembled and raytraced in POVRay and then 16 colored in Corel. Fonts created in Corel / Hi-Logic Font Creator. Cursors in Corel / RealWorld Cursor Editor.

Fences - STOP icons from auto-arranging
I have the Sort Fence option set to none and yet every time I try to reposition an icon within a fence they don't stick where I want them. If I have a dozen icons within a fence and I want one or two icons to remain next to each other, it seems like every time I move one icon to where I want it to go, the others all change their order. They seem to want to be in a topdown order any time the fence has multiple columns. So, if I want to take an icon and place it next to another one, everything bel...![]()

Multi-Monitor Issues
Love the High DPI monitor improvements - but still have an issue...
I have a laptop running at 3840x2160 and Fences works great.
If I plug in my external monitor (also running at 3840x2160) it stretches the fences bigtime:
And when I unplug my external monitor, Fences returns to the normal view on my laptop....
Any thoughts?

Responsiveness - Windows10
Hello,
I´d like to know if I am the only one perceiving general slugishness of Fences3/3.0.3 under Windows 10 64x.
I have 4K display, and around 100 icons, no folder portals. The lag between clicking on the icon, and its actual selection, ranges between 1 and 2 seconds.
When I switch Fences off, everything is instant, and smooth. With Fences on, selecting, moving, or boxing icons gets very choppy, and slow.
My CPU is i4770, Windows is freshly installed, and this is the ...![]()

Fences with Insider Build 15031 -- Almost Working??
Hi all,
I have had Fences disabled for a while because Insider Builds broke them. There's been at least 3-4 builds since then and I'm trying again.
Now, it seems to work OK, except for missing icons on items inside of folder portals. Icons in desktop fences seem OK, but if I create a folder portal, they have no icons.
I've uninstalled Fences, deleted the Stardock folder in AppData. Deleted any registry entries I could find, and rebooted, then re-installed. Same t...![]()

Xiandi Needs Our Help!
Guys, it is with a heavy heart that I bring you some bad news.
Our good friend, Xiandi has informed me that her pancreatic cancer is back. It's moved to her lungs.
It's stage 4, which means it's not curable. The only thing left to do is treat it to extend her life as long as possible. She will start chemotherapy again next week sometime, and they will continue that until they can't do it any more. Her doctor said she has at most 5 years to live.

Icons pop out of Fence when right-clicked and an option is selected
I just discovered that when I right-click an icon that is in a fence and then click an option in the menu that appears the icon pops out of the fence as a result, along with the normally expected result of the option i click on. It doesn't seem to matter what option is picked either. I've done it with three different game and the recycle bin. It happens every time.

Per my initial Post the issue where the Fences bacground does not Match the desktop background has yet to be fixed.
