Don't see this recently reported, so I guess I'm the only one.

I have unchecked the option, saved settings, rebooted. Then reversed all that by checking the option, saving the settings, rebooting.

Hey all, new ObjectDesktop customer. I gave WindowBlinds 10 a shot on my computer and it... did some interesting things to say the least. Upon first installing, things were fine. Then I selected a theme and boom, violent, spectacular crash of every process in the session. Very amusing to watch, honestly.

Before the Anniversary update release of Windows 10 the horizontal taskbar tray area used to show the time and date only in the tray area, regardless of taskbar height. After the anniversary update tons of skins, if the taskbar ended up being over 44 pixels in height, have the tray area showing the time, day and date. It is also not centered vertically on the taskbar in almost all cases.

Very frustrating.  Fences 2 worked just fine in Win 10 environment.  Upgraded to Fences 3 and now:

1. Slow boot issue - Fences is interfering with boot and it can take upwards of 10 minutes for the desktop to appear.

2. Cannot add portals - clicking on Fences options produces nothing

3. Cannot click-to-open anything in existing portal - no response

4. Cannot create new fences.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled; booted/rebooted, all the usual troubleshooting stuff.  We ...

I was surprised to see a comment that inferred Object Dock doesn't work with Win 10... it does on my computer (thank goodness, because I HATE the Win 10 interface!).

 

It was also brilliant in creating a quick link to the otherwise almost invisible and unfindable  Win10 Snipping Tool

Been trying out some new vid cards. At first, I installed a Sapphire NITRO+ Radeon RX 480 4GB and it ran great. Great on the burn in,  and great with memory consuming games like DOOM, but when I would go into FOB on MGSV the fan would spike to 100% and go into an infinite loop error. I would shut the game and bring up Trixx to try adjusting the fan, but it was unresponsive and would blue screen. In Fences 2.0, when opacity was set to 0%, it made the fence and icons invisible, but in 3.0, it only makes the fence invisible, not the icons.  Is this a bug? Or is there a separate way to make the icons invisible along with the fence?

I have been poking around in SkinStudio 10 on a copy of a skin. Would some kind soul please explain where to find the customisations for the Win+X menu? I would like to change the background colour of the menu, but either I'm blind or the customisations are really well buried.

6 years ago I was posting here that I was interested in Fences and was looking if it was possible to get it without Impusle. Then I found a free v1.0.1 from a review, ready to download. Today the same version is still installed on my Windows 7. I use it very basically, just 2-3 fences on desktop which never really moved all those years.

Then a few days ago I saw Fences was on Humble Bundle. After all those years I decided to spend some money on it, even if I currently don't need to...

I am regretfully abandoning WindowBlinds. The latest update, installed November 7, 2016, caused some applications (such as VLC), and some modal dialogs, to lose their title bars, meaning there was no way to move the application or dialog, dismiss the dialog, or exit the application, except by finding its entry in Windows Task Manager and closing it from there. Also, the update caused WindowBlinds to disappear from the wretched Start menu. I think this is sloppy work, folks, and I do not hav...
