I had Fences 3.0 installed on Win 7 Prof, when I did an upgrade to Win 10, a few days before the July 29th deadline when the free offer ended. What I noticed after the upgrade is that Windows misbehaved after the upgrade. What I observed is that if I had multiple application/windows open, clicking on an iconed app would open it, but not bring it to the foreground. I had to icon the window in the foreground to access the one newly requested.

Whenever I mouse over any fence the title collapses and only the first letter is visible with ...




Do I have some setting not set correctly ??

Sad news today.

Kenny Baker, a.k.a. R2D2 in all the Star Wars movies has passed on after what was termed "a long battle with a disease".

R.I.P., Kenny. You were truly great. Thanks for all the happy hours.

After killing all the Windows 10 apps running in the background (put all the app commands into a new folder called disabled), Object dock stopped showing the invisible app icon...  YIPEEEEEEEEEE!

Yesterday, it reappeared after a Window 10 update was installed.  What I discovered was the Microsoft Edge was once again the default browser app.  I changed it back to Internet Explorer or Firefox, the invisible icon went away again.  Of course, it's only been one day....&nbs...

I don't have to go to any great lengths for folks who have been watching the news and watching just some of the large effects of the hacking and hacktivism...

"Snowden" (the movie) has just come out (my opinion is "not really objective")... But this article deals with the who's who of the groups engaging in this un-organised and organised crime, spying, etc.

Hi Gang,

 

Just installed Object Desktop and I'm loving it by and large with one minor problem. I can't seem to get any of the themes I've applied to skin the menus in Windows Explorer. File, Home, Share, View are plain and not taking the button skinning function Window Blinds normally applies. Am I doing something wrong or missing a setting?

I'm having an issue where the right-click menu is not skinning. If I right click on the start menu when it is open, the graphic and colors are correct. But if I right-click either desktop or taskbar, I get a grey color with white text. This is happening on almost all skins.

Ghacks just reviewed what appears to be a new productivity tool...new in the sense that it goes way further than prior apps.

Just a note to remind people who submit skins not to use any special characters in their filenames.  If you put * or - in the filenames for either the skin or the preview, it will become corrupted.

Has anything changed with the process of creating an icon package? Just curious as there hasn't been a new icon package for almost a year.

Are there any tutorials for creating a full, complete Win10 Icon set?

I have update my fence from 2.0 to 3.01，and when i try to use the 'navigate the folder structure from within the fence' in a folder porter,it can't navigate but open a window, though i check the 'allow navigation'.

I don't know why,and can someone help me?

My OS is win10.

v10.4.5 is not compatible and not working with ShellFolderFix.
aShellFolderFix is a must have for me since it remember windows positions..
It doesn't remeber windows positions with this latest WB 10.4.5 version installed.
Also opening windows is slugish in my computer and harddrives. All former version of WB didn't have this problem.
I've tried disabled WB and then ShellFolderFix is working fine. I have tried excluded ShellFolderFix from skinning the EXE file, but made no differ...
