'Last' reply often missing

For several months now, randomly, when I click on the 'go to last reply' icon next to the 'last reply' user's name in the Last Reply Info column (Recent Posts or My Replies) there is no such reply with that user's name.

Windows 10 updated itself and removed the desktop with my fences with their icons and substituted a desktop with its Windows 10 tiles.

 

Anybody know how to get the desktop with my fences back?

I've been using Fences 2 for several years and have had no real problems with it.  I just upgraded to Fences 3 and now the transparency is not working properly.

 

I'm running Windows 10 with two screens, and I have different wallpaper on each screen.  I have all my Fences on Display 1, but the transparency image that Fences displays is from Display 2, example:

 



Please let me know if you need any more information.

I just installed the Windows 10 Anniversary Upgrade. Now, when I click on an icon in one of my Fences, nothing happens. Files or programs will not open.

I used it on XP. Not so much on 7. If you're into it you might want to check this out.

 MS update my Windows 10 to new evaluation copy: Build 14915.rs_prerelease.160826-1902 since I on the fast ring.  Now Fences will not running because of error telling me "Windows Explorer don't shutdown correctly.  Go to my desktop and click on restart Fences"  When I click on restart Fences then my system starts to lockup and couple minutes later I get my OS back but still no Fences.  I tried to reload Fences and again no working Fences.  Right now my Fences ar...

It gets as far as the login screen and never boots to the desktop.  I tried to use a recovery disk to restore the PC and every restore point has been deleted and it fails the read the DVD!  If I restore back to Windows 8.1 will I lose the W10 update or will MS recognize this PC was eligible for the free upgrade?

I just installed fences on a new computer running Windows 8.1 Pro. When I move a fence to the top of my screen the title/name bar moves to the bottom of the fence. Where is the setting to make the name stay at the top? See the screenshot at:

After the Windows 10 anniversary update certain programs like Outlook and Microsoft word office 360 lost the ability to change the page color from white to an  other color as default. This never happened before. I then installed window blinds 10 edited a pre-set skin and applied it to the desktop, nothing happened. There was no change to either my applications or the Windows OS shell. It is as if Windows system colors are locked and not allowing any attempt by whatever means to change them....

Hi,

 

I have windowblinds 10 installed on the most recent version 10.586.494 1511. With any skin, the time and date and notification and speaker, internet, and laptop battery does not skin. The "show hidden icons" is in the skin. It's completely transparent but the icons and time itself. Those show in white. 

Any ideas on this? I uninstalled it 3 months ago because its annoying. But I like WindowBlinds. There has to be a way to cover this. Any experience would be appreciat...

Too many choices on Google, so I thought to ask my friends here. I'm looking for a program that will take an exact image of my hard drive that can be restored after replacing the hard drive or a system crash that can't be recovered. Basically a program that will allow be to boot up via USB stick, then copy the image to the hard drive, then, like magic, everything works like it did when it was backed up. Easy to use is a plus. Thanks guys.

Ok, So I am unable to get DeskScapes to work properly. Whenever I restart my computer it freezes. It randomly freezes when I'm on my computer.

I am running Windows 10 - 64 bit

I have done the standard troubleshooting, and run it in compatibility mode. Did a fresh install. Use the KLight Codec pack. and so on.

When I select a background, and apply it, sometimes it works, other times I get the Active Movie Window...

Any help for this?

So I upgraded to the new fences. And I liked the idea of having the roll-ups along the edge of my main screen, and just moving the mouse over them when I need to access the apps / date / folders. But when I do this, they unroll underneath the existing windows. What use is that? Is there an 'always on top' setting that I'm missing?

I'm not running any other customising software, just plain Windows 10.

Any news about a win10 compatible cursorfx coming down the road and does object desktop work in win10. by the way thanks for the newest FREE WBlinds
