What happened to the ability to drop a file on to one of the OD+ icons and have the program associated with the icon open the file? For example, drop a JPG on to my Photoshop icon and have Photoshop open the file???

Whether you upgraded to Windows 8 from a previous version of Windows, or just bought a new PC, you may have noticed that the start menu in Windows 8 is missing. I've used CursorFX for years. Recently did a full disk recovery and re-installed CursorFX and..................

1. Finally got one new cursor installed and running and now can't change it !

2. Why doesn't the cursor package you download , install directly to the CursorFX program ?

3. Have uninstalled CursorFX, completly, all files, did a restart, re-installed CursorFX and the same Cursor that I had installed on the now deleted CursorFX, is still there and unable to change it...

Well Windows 8 is officially up and running well. It's nice to see some new programs like Start 8 for those that don,t like the idea of life without a start menu.Great for them I have no problem with the new  START SCREEN.

If that were enough to do with the Start Menu / screen issue there is also the new option to change the tiles background.

Two new programs for Windows 8.

It is however nice to see a fantastic UPGRADE to Windows FX works well on Windows 7 & 8!

1: is there a way to search the forums? The search box just seems to be Google, and I'm sure people have asked these questions before, and I don't want to be annoying bugging you with classic FAQs, but there you are.

 

2: In the drop down menu on my nick, when I chose "email hfball" it says I have "chosen not to receive emails." Is there any way I can elect to receive email replies? I already checked "show email" in my profile, but that doesn't seem to have done anything. ...

Apple started it, and there are genuine and phony Apple Stores from here to well, China. MS has them in many cities. Even Samsung has one in London.

Now, according to Seth Weintraub at 9to5Google, a high level source at Google has leaked that there will be Google Stores open for 2013’s holidays in major cities. There are now Google kiosks at retailers now to explain and demonstrate its products but actual sales are done by the chains themselves in the US and Britain.

When I try to uninstall WindowBlinds from my computer this appears at my screen http://prntscr.com/tlwex. I tried everything I knew but nothing worked. What can I do?

Hello, I reinstalled my Windows 7 64bit SP1 and not I cannot activate my Objectdock 2 using my serial number.  The error message is "maximum activation reached".    I opened ticket #TUV-876-27979.  Its been two weeks and there are no update on the ticket.  Also sent an email to Support and still no response. I have been a long time stardock customer and its very frustrating not to get a proper support.  Despite the above ticket has been escalated twic...

So I have a 20KW solar array. Love it.  But it has one big problem for me that is surprisingly hard/expensive to solve: If the grid power goes off, so does the solar array.

That’s because the solar array feeds into the grid with me taking what I need first.  But if the grid isn’t up, the solar array has to shut down because it is no longer connected to the “circuit”.  Besides that, you wouldn’t want to run your house where the power could go on and off randomly based on cloud...

I'd like to put out a formal request for a changelog page (or pages) for the Fences product.  Trying to decide whether or not to recommend the software to clients and I have some unresolved bugs still lurking (I think) in the software.  I spent enough time reporting them as it was and don't care to lose more time re-testing for them.

Posting a changelog for all to see is a much more efficient use of everyone's time.  Hence my request for it.  Thank you.

Hi Guys,

I've scoured the forums and even resorted to Google but I just can't solve this problem... please help - I've lived with it for years now.

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, latest versions of all the StarDock kit, and this problem seems to be skin independent - unless I revert to M$ boring originals...

On a lot of skins, when using Explorer in Preview Pane mode, the file list uses a black background with black font making it frustrating to say the least!
