No more default layouts in Fences 3 ?

Hi everyone & Stardock team,

After update from Fences 2 to Fences 3, I see there's no more default layouts as it was in Fences 2:

Fences 2:



 

But in Fences 3 there's only one automatic layout that creates one ugly layout with three fences:

Fences 3:



 

So I need to create all fences from scratch instead of modifying some default layout.

Maybe this option is hidden somewhere? If no, this is a really big defect.

but i would like please to ask you, how is it possible, to change the Desktop-Icons on Windows 10.

 

Because i have read and noticed, that Icon Packager won´t run on Windows 10.

I have  a tabbed icon dock and a folder dock which start up automatically with windows. The folder dock starts up empty sometimes and sometimes it shows the icons.



After windows started the folder is accessible for sure. That can be hardly be the cause. I guess it is a bug in Objectdock.

The current workaround for me is to quit Objeck dock each time this happens and restart it annually. That's very annoying.

Any Ideas?

Hello Fellow Stardock Users!!

 

Ask 20 people which Object Desktop apps are working  with Windows 10 and which do not and you will get 20 different answers.  Of course I know Windowblinds 10 was recently released and it is awesome! I am using it on my Dell Alienware/Windows 10 platform and it looks fabulous.

 

Which OD Apps still do not work on Windows 10, 64 Bit?

I installed all of the modules from Object Desktop and applied a theme for my desktop.  Everything seemed corrupted (couldn't open Control Panel, couldn't open Windows Explorer, etc.) so I uninstalled everything.  The only problem is that now my icons are still corrupted.  I've tried deleting IconCache.db but my computer is still holding on to the icons from the theme.  I've also tried going to Properties for a shortcut and changing the icon.  Even if I s...

I have one program tabbed that must be run as administrator to work. I discovered through dinging around that both objectdock and the program must be run as "run as administrator" to work. As well, the prompt that starts with "When shortut..." had to be unchecked.

 

That all works fine.

Objectdock 2.10.0.811. Windows 10

7 tab dock. Somehow ended up with 39 separators. I was sliding with a right click or something like that and all these separators appeared. I need only 8 separators.

 

I see now way to remove them. I looked in the ini files and also saw nothing.

 

Other than this the program is working fine in windows 10

I installed a new copy of Windows 7 Ultimate and with that I installed my copy of WindowBlinds 10. Unfortunately I'm experiencing a transparency issue with the title bar and control buttons in Google Chrome. Internet Explorer skins with no problem. Anyone have a solution for this. When I start Windows 10 the desktop icons and fences fail to materialise until I right click the mouse button?

If I uninstall fences the desktop icons install with no problem?

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Basically, I have a folder portal fence where icons are displayed in List View.  I'll resize the icons using Ctrl + mouse scroll to the size I want them, but then after every reboot, I have to re-size them again because Fences didn't properly record or reference the icon size I set them to prior to rebooting.  Fix this please?

I've been using Fences 2 with Windows 7 then Windows 10 for some time (both trouble-free), and have always been able to set up icons so that they appear as a single column with a Fence.

Fences has suddenly started putting all the icons into 2x columns, even if the Fence is only wide enough to display 1x column. Manually dragging the icons back into a single column doesn't work ... the software just reshuffles all the icons in that Fence back into 2 columns.

Hello Everyone, I am trying now to put all the time something in my fence which is still not nothing I can move on my desktop I have tried several things, such as reinstalling fences, install updates, and reboot the PC. Can someone please help me

I have submitted several tickets over the last few weeks, since purchasing AccousticBridge and not heard back from support on any of these days and weeks old tickets.  Submitting a ticket says check on it by logging into the helpdesk.  http://esupport.stardock.com/index.php? does not recognize my email and password which worked OK to purchase, OK, to update account settings, OK to post to forum, but NOT-OK on helpdesk.

My church just bought a new laptop PC running Windows 10.  I'd like to hear suggestions on the best free anti-virus software available.  One caveat, it must be easy to use and not depend on the user knowing much about computers.

Hey, I got Fences 3, The object desktop package on a windows 10 machine.  Lately, within the last 30 days or so, its asking me for the license.  I input it and it accepts it.  Then within 24 hours it happens again.  sometimes within 8 hours I get another popup telling me input the license.  Ive tried the license option and the star dock ID option.  It goes away and then later asks for the password/license.  It keeps prompting for FENCES, not my other star dock ...
