New Windows 10 install with latest updates.  Starting/restarting computer is fine.  Waking from sleep results in a black desktop, requiring reconfiguring Deskscapes 8.5.

I have uninstalled, rebooted, installed, rebooted and tried both the KLite and Shark codec packs. Deskscapes works perfectly in every case except when waking from sleep.  Can anyone offer advice?   Thanks in advance!

I've been using Stardock stuff for years, and recently purchased Object Desktop.  When and where will I get license numbers for the associated software, i.e., Window Blinds, Start 10, etc.  Also, on the My Software page, there is a listing for each time I purchased Object Desktop, many of which are expired, and the latest purchase 4/8/16 (thereabouts) has a green box saying "Renew" but no information on a license or how to get it.  Now, I'm no programmer, and a bit rusty w...

Getting unreadable menu strips in Corel X6 applications. Attached are screenshots of with and without Window Blinds running.

I use Corel a lot so this is a show stopper for me. I've tried looking at themes settings in Window Blinds and can not find anything to help correct this. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

As everyone knows, unless they've been under a rock hibernating each year, Winter's days are shorter than Summer's, and that's why I propose we have daylight Saving in Winter.... to give us longer days.

It makes sense!  And here's why.

As a young bloke I worked in a cabinet maker's factory, which was okay, but in Winter I'd go to work in the dark and go home in the dark.  I didn't see daylight all week long, and being sunlight is our best source of...

Anyone else had this happen?  Came home from work, my computer rebooted itself and now all my fences are gone.  Pissed doesn't begin to describe it.  If this type of thing is going to happen on Windows 10 I might reformat my PC and go back to 8.

Hi, I downloaded fences years ago when I first got my windows 7 laptop.  I think I updated the program maybe once or twice and not in a year or two probably so I've been running some old version of fences, not sure which version at the moment.  Anyway I upgraded to windows 10 and now I can't move any of my icons and I read through forums that fences is the cause of this issue.  I tried using my windows uninstaller and also revo uninstaller and neither of them will show sta...

What happened to Global Warming?

When I put my first above ground pool in around the late 90's we were able to open it in April and start swimming in May.

Now my pool is just opened and still not warm enough to swim in

 

I'd like some global warming back...

Hi, guys,

I am using the bundled "ICE" skin for WB10, but it has a small quirk I would like to be fixed, so whom should I need contact about it, Stardock or some guy "danioc" who made the theme according to its info? If him - there is no contacts

 

P.S. Also I have just recently bought another theme from WinCustomize which I like but it has some issues, so I can not use it with them, but the original author of this skin I have contacted said that he is not going to make any change...

What happen to the skins? :(

Well I've supported Stardock up to this day for YEARS. So looking at skins.. WOW.. almost every page has 4+ selling. Now go back just 100 pages.. you might see ONE selling. And then most of those were AWESOME skins.. now its just .. not ART just greed. Well windowblinds is NOT what it use to be and seeing skins go for $5 (reg) up to $7+.. its a joke almost a insult. People can sell what ever they want.

Its like people trying to get the last drop of water out of the tap..in the end you jus...

Hi I have been stardock customer for along time.  I was just wondering why most the windowblind themes you have to pay for now. I have tosay they do are really awesome. But live on fixed income so I'm not able to buy any of them.  Just curious is to why some skinners charge now.  I know they spend alot of time making them  Thank you Kim

I'm still rather new to the whole skinning thing. Specifically, I have four questions.

First, take a look at this screenshot, with all credits to Neone6 of course for the amazing skin.



 

Question 1: Look at the Q:\ in the address bar, specifially the pink selection area thingy. Is there any way using SkinStudio (or anything else maybe) to turn that into a different color, say, for example, red?

Simply a quick trial period to "kick the tires" and make sure everything works properly

I realize that the skins don't cost much, but so far, on some of the free Win 10 compatible skins, I've encountered a consistent issue.

I use Excel 2016. A lot. Every day in fact for 8 hours straight.

Some of the skins change the color of the grid to something other than white. Often the new color is so dark that it makes using Excel anywhere from visually uncomfortable to near impossible.

I'm using the beta version of WindowBlinds 10 and I noticed that in Blender that any windows created by the application, including the main window, will be completely white until you resize the window.

 

I've tried an assortment of per-application settings, including titlebar only skinning given the nature of Blender, but the only way to remove the problem is to disable skinning entirely.

I just purchased ObjectDocks. All good until when I connected my external monitor to my laptop and then my laptop went sluggish, CPU went up to 100% (Explorer occupied half and WindowsBlind took the other), the second monitor and main screen refresh was extremely slow. I unplugged the HDMI cable and everything was back to normal. So unless, there is a fix, I think I am going to ask for my money back.

 

Any suggestions?
