Came across this on yahoo news. I don't use EMET because it never played nice on W7, but I know there are some who do. If you have a version older than 5.5 EMET is vulnerable to this hack.

What happened to Global Warming?

When I put my first above ground pool in around the late 90's we were able to open it in April and start swimming in May.

Now my pool is just opened and still not warm enough to swim in

 

I'd like some global warming back...

When I first saw the new star wars movie, I had slightly warm feelings towards it, and considered it an ok action movie. But the more time I spent thinking about the film the more negative my opinions on it became. I have now concluded that the movie is as bad as the star wars prequels (most of them at least, episode 1 is probably still worse).

first, why have a support page, if you're going to have a captcha that no one can get past, because no matter how accurately you type the captcha, it says it isn't correct. this is enough to make your head explode in RAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone heard of a wallpaper manager that will let you customize the length of time before an image change when running a wallpaper slideshow?

Say I have three wallpapers in a directory:

c:\wallpaper\flower.jpg

c:\wallpaper\river.jpg

c:\wallpaper\mountain.jpg

I know how to set up a slideshow so each image is on screen for 1 minute before transitioning to the next.  That's built into windows.

But let's say I really, really, really like my flower picture and don...

Not seeing a whole lot reportable in tech at the moment, so…Zika! Don't panic. Please. When I was in Jump School, there was a sign at the gate of the training instruments which read, "Knowledge prevents fear." My response was unprintable, and in a mixture of Hebrew and Arabic.

Now that I re-discovered Deskscapes was working well on Windows 10, I had thought to obtain some of my old dreams that I liked when I first used it. However, there are so many broken download links.

 

I always get the error message:

Make sure the web address http://skins20.wincustomize.com is correct.Look for the page with your search engine.Refresh the page in a few minutes.Now, it can change, it can be skins16, skins19... however, it behaves as if it cannot find that address.

Yes!  Ice!   But it's not what you may think.

Anyhow, every great yarn has a beginnimg, so that's where I'll start.... and first things first, I don't like drinking straight tap water, either filtered or otherwise.  Firstly, drinking too much unflavoured tap water makes me nauseous... really, so I add some lemon or other fruit juice to make it more platable.

I would have not posted this hea but for whatever reason sending an email to stardock or edge runner keeps bouncing back. 

I keep getting an error message saying that my encryption key is incorrect. I go to the primary computer and the encryption key button is faded out. I can't access it for any changes.

Whats odd is that everything worked when I originally installed the program.

What can I do? Also I have version 3.42 KM build but I don't seem to have KVM.

The title pretty much says what the problem is, and for the most part it isn't an issue.... until I want to use various 3rd party programs to defrag and/or clean up.

For example, the wipe free space in Ccleaner is unavailable, with the select boxes for each HDD greyed out and the drive description being SSD, which it isn't.  The other program I can't use is SmartDefrag.  Again, the select boxes for my HDDs are greyed out, and the drives are recognised as SSDs.

Had some malware issues on my Laptop and had to do a restore.  Just kept data files and removed all programs.  It seemed to work well but there is an issue with the above mentioned missing DLL.

Any ides on how to fix this?  Probably got removed with the malware.

I had a severe problem when my Icons and Fences seemed to be stuck and I could not move them!I notice other people on the Forum have complained about this, but no-one has come up with a Solution!It really is a simple Solution and it should be readily available and  clearly visible in the Support Documentation.Just Right Click on a Blank Area of the DeskTop and Click on 'View'Make sure that 'Lock Fences' is UnTicked!
