The tabbed dock autohides when the cursor isn't on it, just showing the tabs. i know this is the default behavior, but i'd like the entire dock to be visible when I don't have any windows open. I don't want the dock to cover any open windows, just to run in the background without shrinking every time i'm not actively using it. I hope that makes sense! You can do that with the regular dock, but is this even possible with a tabbed dock?![]()

WindowFX stops working and Windows Desktop Manager starts consuming CPU
Some background to my problem so bear with me as I feel it necessary to really explain my unique problem..... I've been on Windows 10 almost from the day it was released. First thing I noticed was that WindowsFX 5, which I had installed on my Windows 7 install did not work and quickly found in the forum that it wasn't compatible. I get the message "no suitable decoder found" when trying to use many dreams, but if I click on the dream directly in the folder it resides it will work. Yet the Stardock Deskcapes app says it will not work. The pop up message says I need to install MPEG-2 decoders. This is the latest version DeskScapes8 8.50. Please help with this issue![]()

Task Bar Bug
Just installed the beta yesterday and whenever I restart there is a huge chunk of the taskbar missing directly to the right of the cortana search box. I have to disable/enable Windowblinds to get it to render properly.

Moving from Windows to MAC OSX
Being dissapointed from Windows 8 and upcoming 10 (9 actually) their new ways and interface I decided to abandon Windows after 19years and go to much better but also very expensive iMac with OSX.
I do have some questions though for users who have Macs and they can englighten me before I buy an iMac.

Desktop Icons not appearing with Windows 10
When I install Windows 10 Home update I converted from Fences 1.1 to Fences 2.13.
Now after Boot-up, neither the Fences or Icons that weren't in fences appear, until I right click once anywhere on the desktop.
Then they all appear, but still have to do a refresh to have the Icons line-up correctly within the Fences.
When I right click on desktop and select view
"Show Desktop Icons" is checked, "Lock Fences" is checked. "Align Icons to Grid" is also checked.

Sometimes I just feel so much despair because of the sheer incompetence I see with companies with vastly more resources than I do wallow in. If, for instance, Microsoft can’t write a freaking search algorithm for the Windows store or some high profile game’s trailer looks like it was put together by marketing interns it tells me that my dream of retiring and throwing money to hire people to do the things in the areas I have 2...![]()

My immediate reaciton was, “Of course they can’t, nobody can. We call those hallucinations.” I thought it was absurd to suggest that people could just conjure up an image in their minds.

ever since I am using Windows 8.1, I am terribly bored by the far too bright appearance of the window content. Unfortunately, the "classic" skin that was provided with (up to) Windows 7 has been dropped from Windows 8 - and there's no way to customize the colors in a satisfying way.

Help understanding skin color settings
I'm using 'XP Wood' by Joseph Crowell.
When it is displayed in the preview window of configuration dialog, it shows window backgrounds as being a nice beige color, but when actually loaded, the window backgrounds are all Bright White.
I opened the skin in Skin Studio, but it doesn't show any white regions anywhere in the skin.
How do I gain control over this display??

Object Desktop Manager
My Object Desktop manager just did an update on start-up. It now shows Décor 8, Modern Mix and theme manager, two of which were specifically for Windows 8, now are compatible with Windows 10?
They were all listed at the bottom under Not Compatible with Windows 10. Just thought I would let people know, before trying to install these under Windows 10. If its not supposed to be that way, maybe someone at Stardock could look into it.

I am big fan of WB since 2008 but last years I havent used this software since it was not usable for me.
I am and Cubase and Reason user.
Few days ago i have purchased licence for WB - i was attracted by wb 10 beta. I must say nothing had changed since 2008- I have issues with Steinberg and Propellerhead software. can't move icons
I'm using Windows 10 Pro K (K as Korean Language).
I wanted to try your fence software on my windows, so I downloaded trial version and installed successfully.
However, there is a problem, which is that I can't move all icons.
I created a fence, and then I tried to move it into the fence, but it was not moved in.
I don't know why it is like this.
I would really appreciate that if anyone teach me how to solve this.

[HELP] Fences 2.13 fences missing and icons within.
Hello.
I'm hoping someone can help me here. I have a Windows 8.1 PRO PC with multiple monitors. The other day I noticed that all my fences and their icons were missing. I double clicked on the screen to make sure they weren't hidden and that did not help. I then restored the previous days layout and the fences all returned.
Today, I just noticed the same thing happened again. I tried again to restore a previous snapshot of the desktop, but this time it did not w...![]()
