Well, Google acquired Motorola…but also VirusTotal.

They also set up a website (currently at VirusTotal) where you can scan files, etc.

The interesting in this is that it can scan the firmware on your computer (think Lenovo, and others), AND they’ve added an important layer of scanning: Your BIOS, which traditional AV software doesn’t scan…which the NSA counted on in spyware they created.

They never think about Darwin though, do they?

I keep getting an invisible icon on my dock, when clicked it brings up past windows apps I have used, is there a setting in windows to make this stop? If not can we please have a fix? Thank you for your time!

I'm not sure what happened, but I purchased and downloaded Fences 2. I restarted the PC when it asked me to. When it started up, my Ethernet no longer worked. It keeps telling me that there are no connections available. My Firewall also can't start any more and several of my services, like the Diagnostics Policy no longer start. I have no Idea why this has happened, but the only thing I did was install Fences.

I'm running it on a AMD Athlon II X4 635 Processor with 16 gb of ram on...

This seems to happen only with the first dock, so what I did was move the dock to a location on my desktop I don't really use for anything. I left it empty and made everything transparent so I don't have to look at it. So far so good, no more maddening empty icon. I still do hope this gets fixed though, as it is my favorite dock and I use it all the time! (If this has been posted before I apologize, it didn't come up in my research)

I have never been able to launch a 64bit application from a folder shortcut in ObjectDock. Is this possible?

 

Explanation:

I use the 64 bit version of FireFox (named Nightly). It is installed at "C:\Program Files\Nightly\firefox.exe".

I have a shortcut to the executable in a folder named "Internet". The shortcut target is "%ProgramW6432%\Nightly\firefox.exe -p Nightly -no-remote". This shortcut works fine when double-clicked.

The title is the best way I can describe it.

I have an icon that is a shortcut to an external drive. Whenever I click that icon, it makes the default windows explorer icon appear on OD until I close the window for the external drive.

I also have another icon that open OD settings without having to right click on the dock first. But that also makes the default ObjectDock settings icon appear until I close it.

Is this supposed to happen? If so, why? If not, how can I stop it from making t...

Hi,

I have Fences 2.13 on the work laptop (HP) and Windows 8.1.

At work is it connected to 2 monitors, but at home I work only on the laptop own monitor.

Each monitor has a resolution of 1920x1200 and the laptop's monitor is at 1920x1080.

 

The problem is that when I switch the laptop between home and office the Fences are all messed up.

Size of the fences is changed, icons are moving out of their location.

Oracle’s Java Plugin for your web browser is no longer being supported. This momentous step was taken on 1/27.

So why did Oracle do this? Because the major browsers have moved to HTML5, which is far more secure and stable than the old NPAPI standard. In fact, all browser plugins based on that will cease to work in all the major browsers in 2016. I Iove how Start 10 can change its accent color automatically to match the desktop background. Is there a way to do this with the skins in WindowBlinds 10? Is this something that is planned? Thanks.

Windows 8.1, Windowsblinds 8 trial. Skin is "Default Theme by Microsoft" and the substyle is the theme that I saved using Windows itself. When I click "Apply Style" all that happens is that Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Personalization opens up. Hi everyone,

 

I don't really like "white" explorer backgrounds though i apply a 20x20 colored .bmp with SkinStudio 8 (running Windows Seven with latest WindowBlinds 8.13) as "Explorer Backgrounds" / Active and Inactive Window and "Sorted Column" Active and Inactive

But many times it keeps a white little part all along from vertical scrollbars like this :

 



 

How to get rid of this ?
