Currently running beta 2 of the Windowblinds 10 and love it. But, I am having a problem with many of my system tray icons being missing when I click on the spot for them to appear from their hidden state. (I usually have 5 to 7 icons in the tray; yet, I can only see 2 of them.) I have noticed this problem continues even if I move the taskbar into various locations on the screen and there appears to be no way to gain access to those icons. How to change Explorer's Stark White Background color
Hi.
I download WB10 and installed it on Windows 10 Build 10586.36. And though there are a few quirks, WB10 is very cool.
But I am desperate to change Explorer's background color. Those stark white backgrounds give me headaches!
How do I change Explorer's background color?

why am i so lost?
is it too much to ask for an easy to find reply button on these forums?
i know for a fact, it's still too much to ask to customize the system tray icons.
i'll try enjoying a skinless january without smashing this laptop. all this just to get my system settings to open. can we come together as a species and hang bill gates yet? spend all his money on taking back control of our desktops? is it illegal for me to suggest a better option?

I own objectdock obviously. I just downloaded a .dxpack file - I am wanting to install the SimpleTextDate. Do I need another application to install that? Or do I simply extract it into my objectdock directory?...any help would be greatly appreciated.

New menu controls for windows 10 skinning
It looks like MS has put together another patchwork UI full of inconsistencies. They just can seem to follow their OWN rules when "designing" an OS UI!
Here are a couple of thing I have discovered in the short period I have had access to WB 10 and Sks 10.
1. Right click menus (desktop and taskbar) are now using the skin defined system colors to skin the background rather than the graphic image.
Controls are as follows:
Background = menu
Boarder = button shadow ...![]()

Forum User Profile Stats are not updating
The 'Activity Stats' and 'Recent posts' etc... fields in User Profiles seem to be broken.
For instance, Brad (Frogboy) just posted in the forums but, in his profile, the last time he is listed as active dates back to November 2013 (!).
Even though the last post he made regarding Surface 4 does indeed show up in 'Recent Posts', the post immediately after refers to a thread from 2012 (!).
Island Dog's is listed as Last Active in December 8, 2015.![]()

As you have seen, WinCustomize has not had many updates recently. So, I'm looking to try and clean things up a little bit here. Starting out by fixing a few things. So, I'm asking you, what issues on WinCustomize have really been bugging you that you would like to have fixed?![]()

Fences 2.13 is "NOT" compatible with Windows 10 [corrected]
I have been using Stardock Fences since the day it was originally released. This business of having to buy Object Dock to get an update is crap. I have virtually all of them including Object Dock. I hate the Object Dock product. So to have to install a product I don't even like, then update it, then try Stardock Fences 3.0 (2.90) is not worth all the trouble.
Stardock Start 10 is another product that does absolutely nothing to enhance the use of Windows 10 in any useful way as it did back...![]()

Restore Maximum Power State to Surface Pro 4
My Microsoft Surface is a constant companion. It is absolutely central to my workflow.
One of the challenges I’ve had with it is battery life. There’s a lot of things you can do to help with your battery life but one simple thing I’ve done, for now, is to set the max CPU when on battery to 99%.
Setting the max CPU to 99% prevents the CPU from going into Turbo mode. For me, this accomplishes two things:
(1) I get roughly an extra hour of battery ...![]()
