Multiple Explorer Windows?

$

I just switched from Rocket Dock and it had a built in icon to the Windows Explorer that opened a new Explorer every time I clicked on it.

I looked a the link and in OD, it is: C:\Windows\explorer.exe, in Rocket Dock, the link is something weird: ::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}

I made an icon to: ::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D} and it opens explorer with the tile bar saying "Computer", but it won't open multiples.

How can I have an icon tha...

To all those who get the message after reboot "Object Dock has stopped working". This happened after the Windows update on November 10th. The problem lies in update KB3097877 and is a Windows Security update.

If you have this problem, go to Control Panel - Windows Update - Update History - Installed updates. Then search for this update KB3097877 in the Windows Security Section and uninstall it.

Reboot and you should be fine.

Good luck!

Last night I ran Windows Update. It included an update to the NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT video driver. I have three display monitors. This is my personal workstation and has only two logons, only one of which I use on a daily basis.

All but 84 of my 660-plus desktop icons disappeared, including those in fences. About 100 were on the desktop outside of the fences, the rest were located inside individual fences.

The installation of the GeForce drivers failed during the update, and hung the ...

I've been purchasing Start8 for individuals that I help with their systems. Is there any way to transfer the license I purchase for them, to them. Or is there any way I could label the individual licenses in my account. So I could track who I purchased the license for.

Thank-You

Hello,

I have previously had problems with Fences and certificates, I have added that thread in these forums as a link in this post.

My workplace has pushed some new security settings and fences won't run.  When I go to fences.exe -> properties -> Digital Signatures, I can select the "Stardock Corporation" signature and press the "Details" button.

Windows shows an error icon and says "The revocation process could not continue - the certificate(s) could not be check...

I know DeskScapes supports multiple monitors; but does it work with virtual single monitor schemes like Nvidia's Surround, which treats all three monitors as one monitor for gaming etc?

So what's the fuss about. Windows 10 installed earlier today and, that's it...

I can still do everything I need to with the minimum of effort. I still have my taskbar toolbar 'Programs', so I don't need that ugly start menu. Everything seems easy to find and nothing's broken.

The only thing I need to fix is the fugly look but, isn't that what we skinners do best

Mobility and work as well as convenience considerations have encouraged most of us to get rid of the cables and use Wi-Fi to connect to and use the net. This has made us vulnerable to cyber criminals who can snoop and hack their way into our connections and steal personal, and financial data for their profit. The downside is the broadcasting…the image that comes to mind is turning a light on at night: It can be seen at a distance no matter where one stands.

Hi,

Both accounts are linked to the same email address, but any password reset requests are for the 'Darkhosis' account.  I could be wrong, but as I recall, the galciv2 forum/site was its own entity and entirely separate from the Stardock page, back in 2007 (the last time I put any significant time into any Stardock product, so unaware of when changes took place).

I am running Windows 7 Pro SP1 with Fences v2.13. I created a fence on the desktop then decided I didn't need it. I now want to delete/remove it permanently and cannot find out where or how to do it. I searched all of the categories here in the forum and nothing.

Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

Thanks

Michael

Yeah, so after a very frustrating time looking for a house to rent, with so many knockbacks and disappointments, I've finally found a place that I can call home.

Before I go any further, though, I must say that I am grateful to Steve and his family for their hospitality and patience while I sought somewhere else to live.  Without them life would have been so much different over the last 12 months or so.  Having said that, I'm as glad as all buggery to be moving into this new...
