The first and worst? From MS’s Privacy Policy Statement:

“We will access, disclose and preserve personal data, including your content (such as the content of your emails, other private communications or files in private folders), when we have a good faith belief that doing so is necessary to […] protect our customers or enforce the terms governing the use of the services.”

This (to me) says my computer now belongs to them. Sorry, this is completely unacceptable.

Well i thought this would be a good post since we also had some interesting posts about the can looking like macintosh pro.
So i thought i make a post about the new design of the new alienware PC.
I think the whole shape and form of it looks pretty amazing despite whats build into it.
This thing is seriously looking like alientech   The shape reminds me of Dario Arnaez logo a bit.

I didn't buy Fences for all the bells and whistles - just the facility for taking snapshots and Saving/Restoring them.

It does that quite nicely - and that justifies my ten bucks.

 

But I think you guys should take the AutoArrange thing more seriously.   This is a significant lapse vis-a-vis Windows Desktop behavior.

I understand the thing about resizing Fences and wanting to re-flow the icons.... but it's also obvious that with AutoArrange=Off Fences could be re-si...

Last night I ran Windows Update. It included an update to the NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT video driver. I have three display monitors. This is my personal workstation and has only two logons, only one of which I use on a daily basis.

All but 84 of my 660-plus desktop icons disappeared, including those in fences. About 100 were on the desktop outside of the fences, the rest were located inside individual fences.

The installation of the GeForce drivers failed during the update, and hung the ...

So I'm perusing my updates and I noticed an additional optional update bring the total to 10. I checked out five of them and they were pretty lame, harmless. Then I decided to view my hidden updates. Guess what found. They went from optional to recommended. MS wasn't supposed to do this till next year. They lied!

edit:  reinstalled windows - resolved.

 

My PC just began acting weird.  Many of the exe (programs) i use don't respond to to clicking, even refuse to respond to rt ck -ruin as admin.  I get the endless blue circle (same-as old hourglass icon) saying PC is now busy - but ti never runs the program - sometimes ctrl-alt-delete permits me to end it, sometimes it won't.  It won't let me do a system restore (this is one of the exes that hangs up into forever ...

I just did a fresh install of Windows 10 and I'm trying to restore my Objectdock to my previous setup, problem is when I overwrite the files with my saved versions, Objectdock doesn't change, it stays as the factory settings. Any ideas?

Hi, before I spend money renewing DeskScapes and WindowsBlinds, I wanted to make sure they will be compatible with Windows 10. I know the retail release of RTM (to non-insiders) hasn't happened yet, but its only a few days away. I love these programs, just don't want to spend money if support is going to be lost.

On my previous version of Windows 10 Pro Technical preview DeskScapes worked fine. I got an update last night of Windows 10 Pro this update is build 10041 now and now my desktop is not animated, it will just show it as a regular background of the animated picture, it won't move. I re-installed DeskScapes and everything. Any suggestions or anything you guys know what I can do to make it work? Thank you in advanced.

Hello,

I was wondering if it's currently possible to put a fence in a fence, if not is there a suggestion section to request a feature. I was making a Fence for my music and I figure it would look a lot neater if I can scroll down a single fence that haves a fence for each album in it. I've attempted to make an example by just making 3 fences overlapping each other, however, I can't scroll down the Music Fence to see more fences with different albums.

So, everything appeared to be normal today at the library's public computer section.  For once, even the perpetually screaming baby was quiet. (Perhaps GOD finally took pity on the rest of humanity and gave the kid a strep throat - or diverted a truck.  Or perhaps it was some one's idea of a phone prank all along.  I never actually saw the kid, but you couldn't escape the sound, every few minutes, full operatic volume.  Maybe he or she matured?)

Hey 

 

I've bought fences im trying to use it, but the fences are all off my screen and i cant grab them or move them because of it.



here you can see the screen, most of the fences are off the screen, and there is one large fence over all of the others so i cant click any of them.

 

I have tried uninstalling and installing again.

 

the first time i installed the fences they worked ok, but then when i connected to my second monitor, it messed them ...

Hello!

Some apps remain on top (and I think they keep stealing focus), so OD doesn't appear when I move the pointer to the edge. Coriously enough, it works with Chrome but not with Thunderbird.

Same problem with Directory Opus.

Why ObjectDock use about 20...25% of CPU resourses every 1..2 seconds when I interact with some another programs? It provide a significant slowdown and I should to unload ObjectDock for comfortable work on PC...

SFC /scannow will fix Windows system files corruption. When it works by copying cached files stored after having been copied in the past (…system32\dll cache folder).

However, when the cached file is corrupted as well, it won’t work. Then you get a message like:

What's the thinking on a upgrade in " Dream Maker "

WMV and AVI only ( need others ) , need the option to move forward with 

Hd, 2K 4K 8K. needing different codec formats and MP4

Dream Maker hasn't changed for awhile , meanwhile resolutions screen sizes all

are moving forward, and those new changes also make for larger file sizes ( 2K 4K )

might need to allow for a larger file size dream upload.

I received a few comments from people with larger screens and multiple...
