I use a zoomer dock with icons for folders that drop down as lists when I click on them. Some programs won't run from the dropdown list. For instance, with Comodo Internet Security I receive error msg

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Comodo\Comodo Internet Security\cfp.exe

The specified path does not exist

Check the path and try again."

Of course, that path doen't exist, because Comodo installs in C:\program files\Comodo...etc, not in C:\program Files (x86)!

When will we get WindowBlinds for Windows 8? Windows 8 has been released for a couple of months now.

Not only WindowBlinds, how about other software in the Object Desktop for which I paid and can not use?!

 

Many of us have paid a yearly subscription and for those of us who 'upgraded' to Windows 8 upon release, and those who had the beta versions for longer, we have not been getting our money's worth!

1: is there a way to search the forums? The search box just seems to be Google, and I'm sure people have asked these questions before, and I don't want to be annoying bugging you with classic FAQs, but there you are.

So this is my first time actually working on a windowblinds skin. I am having a hard time locating where the glow behind the font is for the titlebar caption. This is modified off of the Win8 theme included with windowblinds if that makes any difference.

Here is a picture of what I mean.

Interesting article at infopackets. Apparently folks are showing a reluctance to upgrade to W8.

W8’s share of all Windows PC’s is about 2.5%, which was up from 1.9% in 12/2012. When RT is added, it becomes 2.6%.

Three months after Vista became available, it’s uptake rate was 3.3%.

Even worse, W8’s month by month growth has slowed significantly, per infopackets (based on an article in Computerworld.nz), although the week-to-week shows a very modest gain of 2.7% vs. 2.2...

I inadvertently uninstalled the impulse client before uninstalling object desktop. Now when I try to uninstall object desktop, it complains that it doesn't have the impulse client it needs in order to do the uninstall. What on earth do I do about this?

Hello,


My Object Desktop subscription expired two months ago. I just had to format my PC and unfortunately I found that I wasn't able to reinstall my programs (None of them)

Of course, I was aware that after the subscription expired I wouldn't be allowed to download the software again, so I did my homework, investigate all I could about it and made the proper arrangements.

I purchased Desktop Fences v2.00 recently, and was having issues with it crashing explorer randomly, sometimes with startup of Windows and sometimes not. I checked out your forums for a solution to my issue and could see that there was an update v2.01 out designed to fix this problem.

I have since updated and installed v2.01 however I am still having the same problem, it even seemed to be worse after I uninstalled and reinstalled the update.

Hello,

 I have just installed fences pro for the first time after owning it for over a year. I am trying to get use to how fences pro works and the only negative thing I could say is about me, I just take a while to decide if I like something.




I can see how fences pro can be a great program, I use my desktop for all my shortcuts anyway. Fences makes the desktop look much more organized and I guess that is what Fences Pro is for.

This looks like an old thread but 2 years ago it was mentioned that List view in regular fences, not just portals would be available in a future version.  Is it available already and I'm missing it.....or has it not yet been added.  It would really round out this product perfectly.  Please let me know.  Thanks!
