Okay, new issue.

 

Out of nowhere, I have solid popup menu backgrounds, not my images.

 

I have checked the USE FLAT MENUS{disable 3d effect on menus} and it is not enabled.

 

I do not no where else to look.It is just my right click pop up menus and dropdown menus, the start menu popup is fine as are the tool images, which are the same, so it has to be a setting somewhere.

 

PLEASE, save me a two day headache, Help me. Xiandi, Vamps, Neone, Tom, anybod...

With the release of the first beta of DeskScapes 8 for Object Desktop subscribers, we have also been working and updating the DeskScapes gallery here on WinCustomize.

Along with some back-end improvements, we have also added a filter to where you can see only Windows 8 ready animated wallpapers. 

On the Dream upload page, we also now detect if your upload is Windows 8 ready, and will display a proper badge on the skin page if so.

Hi!

 

So, I just bought Sins of a solar empire, and I needed to register an account. Fine.

However, to my surprise, I couldn't complete the registration. "Unspecified error 99" well that's helpful. I tried registering here first instead and got a more helpful error "password too long". What? passwords can't be longer than 12 characters??? This is really disheartening. I never use passwords that short. What gives stardock? Surely your databases can handle longer pas...

Hello, I have installed Deskscapes 8. I followed the link to stardock after I got the (Not suitable decoder fond) message. I understand the whole "Microsoft didn't include MPEG-2 on Win8."  The article mentions upgrading to/adding Windows Media Center which I have. I LOVE YOU!!!

Deskscapes is working wonderfully thus far. Windows 8 Pro 64bit.

Even my old purchased dream, Liquid Dream, installed and works flawlessly.

 

I had to do a restart though for Deskscapes to start functioning. Maybe have the restart as part of the install process?

Anyway, I'm tickled pink.

 

Now Mr Banfield, where is my WINDOwBLINDS!?!?

So last night I decided to see if my old notebook from 2005 would be able to handle Windows 8 Pro.

 

With some minor issues I was able to get it installed and working quite well.

 

Hardware:

Dell Inspiron 6000D

1.6Ghz Intel Pentium M centrino (533MHz FSB)

2 GB 533Mhz DDR2 RAM

15.4" WSXGA+ (1680x1050) display  -  I sooooo miss this res on newer notebooks........sigh!

128 MB ATI Mobility X300 video chip

160GB 5400rpm HD

1st gen NE...

when i'm activating my objectdock plus productserialnumber it shows "Maximum activations reached". can you pls fix it.

btw I didn't used my activation keys on other computers. and also why not work on objectdock. it's so outdated. I saw alot of users requested alot of suggestions including me. why not listen (sometimes) on your customers? I bought objectdock 2.01.0 over a year. until now no updates. I bought 7 apps  on sd and 1 game btw. thought sd is listening on their costu...
