More issues for me with Windows 10. So I have the Windows explorer folder on the dock, hovering over this gives you a preview of all open folders. Two issues here:




1. Currently, there is a black thumbnail included amongst the open folder thumbnail previews. Present even if I have just one folder open.


2. As the number of explorer folders increase, the explorer thumbnail preview area begins to cut across the left or right edges of the screen obscuring contents of that folder. With w...

For me, all apps launch fine with Objectdock on Windows 10. However, there is a bug when you try to launch a folder. The folder initially opens up for a second and then disappears, only to then reappear a second later. Doesn't happen for folders that are already open on the desktop.

Nexus Dock also has a similar issue. Maybe something needs to be updated to be compatible with Windows 10. Folders launched from Windows taskbar don't have this problem.

Could we possibly get a current list of OD programs that are compatible with Windows 10?
I would suggest pinning it and updating it when changes come around. At this point I see no way of telling which are and which are not.

I stupidly installed everything and it broke Windows 10 completely and had to re-install the OS. My fault but a list would be very handy.

Hi

 

can somebody send me via PM the jpgutils.dll file please !? LogonStudio installer does NOT install it and LS needs it to convert jpg files to bmp and NO, my AV is not involved in the disappearing act ! You might say I can go without it only by dealing with bmp files, I know, but no ! I still want the dll !





Or maybe you know where I can find it ! I searched for an hour to no avail...

This is a feature request.

My desktop is covered with running applications (word, browsers, etc...).  Often I need to access a file/shortcut that I have defined in a fence.  I know I can "show desktop", but as soon as I interact with the desktop, I have to bring back the individual apps one at a time (they're minimized).  A better alternative would be to identify certain fences that can be brought to the top of the viewing order to interact with, then sent back to the deskt...

Bill Gates, Musk, Hawkings and others have all stated their concern regarding the distressing potential dangers of AI more than once, on we go pell-mell towards self aware/self governing machines.

We can’t even get security updates right without causing severe problems, but somehow think “We can do this. We can win!”.

Just a minor thought…a program, any program (including heuristic ones) are limited by their coding and how, via this coding, they ‘learn’. The same is true...

To upgrade to Windows 10, you must be running Windows 8.1.  For almost a year now, I have been trying to instal 8.1 but always get a prompt to remove Deskscapes.  I have done this but everytime I get the same error message - To continue uninstall the Deskscapes App. I have done this buit still get the same error message.

I have got to the point where I had given up on installing 8.1 but I now need to to install windows 10.

Any help gratefully received

Just finished upgrading from 8.1 to windows 10 and deskscapes continues to work no issues....

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7. Fences 2.0 worked perfectly in my earlier OS but now I cannot move icons into or out of Fences or on the desktop.

I have been told that other people have solved this problem by updating to Fences 2.13. How can one update Fences, I cannot find anywhere the update link!

Running a relatively clean install of Windows 10 Pro x64 and ever since I upgraded I've notice that OD seems to have periods of non-responsiveness that I've not seen in past versions of Windows. It is set to zoom on hover and stay on the desktop until i hold my cursor to the top edge. There are times where it doesn't pop up to the foreground and zoom and i cant click anything. Why can't I move desk top icons to fences? I am using Windows 8.1.

The only way I can do this is by copying or cutting the icons and pasting them into fences.

I can't drag and drop desktop icons, I have the latest version of Fences installed. When I click and drag them the round circle with a line through it appears. Thanks!
