Hi! I just recently installed two pieces of software, Stardock Fences, And Stardock WindowFX. Ever since installing the two, my computer has been forced into Windows 7 Basic theme. Whenever I opposite click and click "Personalize", I get "Explorer.EXE - Unspecified Error". I tried uninstalling the two, and the problem is still occurring. My computer is running Windows 7 Ultimate x64. If anyone can give me any help with this, that would be great. Thank you in advance!![]()

Windows 8 Fences Slow to Startup
Have installed Fences on Windows 8.
Tried it on a laptop I tried Windows 8 out on a week or so ago, and now have put it on a Windows 8 Pro (x64) install...
On laptop Fences behaved fine. Well, it behaves fine on the Windows 8 Pro on my main computer BUT it takes about 15 seconds to load after windows finishes loading. I have no desktop Icons until Fences finally loads (or perhaps loads straight away but nothing shows for 15 seconds or so). The machine boots in about 5 seconds or so, so its...![]()

When will we get WindowBlinds for Windows 8? Windows 8 has been released for a couple of months now.
Not only WindowBlinds, how about other software in the Object Desktop for which I paid and can not use?!

SDCentral does not list my DesktopXPro3.5 anymore - how/where to download 4Beta?

after a long time, i tried to install SDC and DesktopXPro3.5 again. Btw. in my account at Stardock DesktopXPRo3.5 is listed but the downloadlink does not work.
Found a working downloadlink in an archived email from 2009. I have now SDC and desktopxPro 3.5 installed.
How can i now upgrade to beta 4 of DesktopXPRo? SDC even does not list DesktopX Pro under download or under installed.

"new folder" crash from Win 7 to windows 8 start screen
Installed the full suite of programs yesterday after upgrading from the Start8 trial. Now in file explorer when I click on new folder it closes all and take me out of the Win 7 style Start screen and to the new Win 8 screen, and doesn't allow me to create the new folder (which I still haven't figured out how to find under the new system--was using "my computer" under the start 8 option). Why is trying to create a new folder bouncing me out of the Win 7 style start and not allow...![]()

My Entry to the Robocall Challenge

Security red flag: password length limit
While purchasing Start8 and creating a Stardock account, I was shocked that passwords are limited to only 12 characters. This is a pretty big red flag that passwords are not being handled and stored correctly behind the scenes. If the passwords were being stored as salted, one-way hashes behind the scenes, there would be no need for you to limit the length. If you're not already doing it this way, please begin working on it ASAP.

Perpixel Min, Max, Close
Okay, I need help. Could any of you experts maybe lend some suggestions?
I have a problem with my per pixel buttons. This is a work in progress. I can not figure why when I mouse over any of the min, max, or close, buttons, they all light up. What am I missing. Never had this before, but be forewarned, I started this skin from my A.D. skin and if you remember how pathetic that was, well, anything could be happening.

No sound even after driver install
Well I decided to use XP until we can figure out what to do with the new build. I installed XP. The HP website does not have a driver for audio so I looked up the motherboard information. That info lists the sound chip as a Realtek HD audio chip. So I went to the RealTek site and downloaded the driver for HD sound. Installed the driver. I have a volume control icon next to the clock. When I turn up or turn down the volume there is no sound. While playing a song from WMP there is no sound. I have...![]()

Missing files from "My Skins List"
Why do I only show 14 dreams on My Skins List? It show that there is only one page of files when there should be 25 pages.
I get the same result from IE 8, 9, & 10, Chrome, Firefox, & Safari.
