I, like many of you, am a huge Sci Fi fan and it all started with "Star Trek".  My kids grew up loving it and now my grand kids are following suit.

I admit it, I cried when they killed off Spock, and was overjoyed when they brought him back and felt as if a family member had passed when Leonard Nimoy died. Never missed an episode or a movie - and have them all.  First on VHS and now DVD and digital. 

Never had the chance to meet him, or any of the actors for that matter. Com...

Not sure when this happened, but I cannot move to an alternate desktop. My fences are not locked, I slide all to left or right and it just bounces back to my primary fence. I have WIn 8.1.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Windows 8.1 Windowblinds using Start 8.

Double checked on several PC's.

 

-When using a WindowBlinds skin that has a Start menu Animation, the Start menu Animation stops working after right click, on taskbar button (Jumplist pop up)

No matter what you try to restore the function it will not come back except with a restart, but again as soon as you press for Jumplist in Taskbar it's all broken again.


-This needs a fix promptly as it affects ALL skins with Start menu ...

Completely Removed Fences (Add/Remove Programs) version 2.13 and rebooted.

Fences did not come back up on reboot.

Reinstalled Fences - Old Fences immediately reappeared and again will not allow me to move, resize, or reconfigure in any way.

How do I remove Fences so that I can create new fences and perhaps resolve my issue?

Dear Stardock,

Trying to get support here is like Fort Knox.

I have TWO PCs, I bought two sets of keys, one for each.

This morning I get notifications that PC-01's 30-Day Trial is about to expire, in 17 Days...

So I think, Hmm, I guess I didn't buy a set of keys for this machine.  So I go out and buy a set of keys, only to discover

I ALREADY DID.

Now I have THREE copies of Fences.

I'm sorry I don't speak English very well.

I would like to switch between Deskscape and classic wallpapers with a batch file.

I would like to know what are the processes that must be stopped to completely stop Deskscare ...
I tried but it stops just the animation ...

I also tried to stop the Deskscare service, but there is no change ...

Do you have any idea?

Well my Partner and I have taken the plunge and bought a block of land and will be building our dream home. At the moment we are in the planning stage with a reputable builder. For those Aussies it's GJ Gardner Homes. We are auctioning the house in Melbourne in March so the proceeds from that will be more than enough to cover the entire costs for our new abode. I have included Ultra Compare Icon into a Fence called "Program". However, every time I needed it I could never find it. Even I extended its board to maximum. I though I forgot, until today I created another shortcut into it. Same filename reported. I opened the desktop, find the original and did drag again. It reports: "The source and destination filenames are the same". But I just can't see it. 

p.s. that shortcut is not marked hidden. I can see it front desktop folder.

Hi guys,

 

I've had a trawl through the internet to try and find a solution to the problems I'm having, and to no avail.

 

The main problem so far seems to be running WindowBlinds 8.12 (with Win 8 Metro theme) and Mozilla Thunderbird 38.0.1 at the same time. It just seems really buggy. I'm having problems accessing the Thunderbird menus and min/max/close buttons because they flicker and act very strangely when I hover over them. When I minimize TB, then max...

There is a blank icon on my dock. Just underneath the icon is a small white triangle. I don't know how this blank icon got onto my dock, but I can't get rid of it.

When I right-click on the blank icon, there is no context menu entry to remove it, and if I drag it off the dock it just comes right back.

I don't even know what the icon represents. It has no name, and if I right-click on the icon one of the context menu entries says: Run ''

How can I get rid of this thin...

This might be a first for the forums. I have many flac files on my hard drives. I need software that will convert/burn the flac to a dvd-a disc. Because mp3 sucks I do not want to convert them to mp3 with loss of quality . aac is better than mp3 but still not as good as burning the flack to make an audio dvd which I will play on my dvd or blu ray player. I found one program that is expensive and wondering if there are any members here that has ever made audio dvd...

Hello, i'm using Fences since 1 year now i love it, but even with a SSD and 12gb DDR3 when i start my computer fences take some second to run properly and it kill my ssd power I just use 6 fences as you can see here :
