Running OD 2.20.0.862 on W7 Ultimate 64-bit. I have the W7 taskbar set to hidden in OD Settings.

The problem I have is when I run a program that requires a UAC prompt (e.g. something set to 'Run as Administrator'). On normal W7, this displays a  dialog on which you can confirm you want to run the application.

But when the W7 taskbar is hidden by OD, this dialog does not display. I either have to re-enable the W7 taskbar to select the dialog from the shield icon on the W7 taskb...

I have just reinstalled my Object Desktop.

 

I remember I once had one of the program to show me the back side of the windows. And something about how much this program was using of memory etc.

Which of the programs was that?

I recently bought a copy of east india company from my local EB and when I try to install it it says that the cd key is already registered. I have not installed the game before anywhere, the copy is fresh out of the box and not second hand. I am posting this here because the Paradox support forums response was, contact stardock support. Can anyone help me out?

I just want to do one simple thing...

Change the color of my inactive windows from the appalling Microsoft designated white to something (ANYTHING) else.

Yes, I've tried registry tweaks.

Yes, I've tried every configuration of the 'high contrast' options but they look horrible.

I'm running Windows 8.1 with every driver and bios updated!

Can WINDOWBLINDS Help me?

If it can, is there a simple way to explain it to this simple man?

I hadn't planned to make any more tech purchases once I'd gotten my CoolerMaster Cosmos II and a Z97 motherboard to upgrade my i7 4790K rig, but plans do not always go to plan, as I found out yesterday, now.

So there I was, trawling through price comparison pages for PC tech, as you do, when I spied this ASUS ROG Mars 760 Dual GPU graphcs card going for an unusually low price... and better still, the place selling it is just 20 minutes away by bus.

Hi Stardock,

Fences 2.13

When I start my PC with Fences, the PC is very slow to startup and I get an almost blank screen before fences "snap in". If I uninstal Fences the PC start very quickly. I have googled the problem and it seems others have this problem too.

 

My OS: WIN 7 64 Bit

Please advice

Hello, I have installed Deskscapes 8. I followed the link to stardock after I got the (Not suitable decoder fond) message. I understand the whole "Microsoft didn't include MPEG-2 on Win8."  The article mentions upgrading to/adding Windows Media Center which I have. On my previous version of Windows 10 Pro Technical preview DeskScapes worked fine. I got an update last night of Windows 10 Pro this update is build 10041 now and now my desktop is not animated, it will just show it as a regular background of the animated picture, it won't move. I re-installed DeskScapes and everything. Any suggestions or anything you guys know what I can do to make it work? Thank you in advanced.

Is it possible to apply a WindowsBlind theme via the Command Line?

The reason for asking is WindowBlinds never resumes from sleep or hibernate properly, always resetting the ui color to black (in the theme is cyan).  It would be helpful if I could create a batch file or vbs script to run automatically after resuming from Sleep or Hibernate, as I must also shutdown (end process) the Desktop Windows Manager (due to WindowBlinds apply causing rainmeter skins (ini's) to load improperly)....

Download the Object Desktop Manager application

That's the message I clicked on, which went promptly to my "My Downloads" page - but there is no "Object Desktop Manager" to download.  Is there another place I can download it?

I've barely played these games, and would be glad to rid my pc of them.  How do I go about it.

 

Apparently "Stardock's Impulse client is required to remove this application."  Any assistance would be appreciated.

Today was strange i was sitting in class and was thinking about how i miss the walking dead series of amc

I started watching it a year or so ago and it was good. Benedict Cumberpatch was solid. As the seasons went on, I realized how good Martin Freeman was as John Watson. He really deserved best supporting actor. He actually outshines Benedict. Kudos to him!
