Hi,

just renewed my ObjectDesktop license. I have been off for a year or so. Now, when I launch the "Object Desktop Manager" I get the following error message: "Sorry, unable to setup automatic checks. Please try again. If it fails again, you may run Object Desktop manually to retrieve updates until the issue is resolved."

What does this mean actually? What am I supposed to do?

Since I was interested in this and fences I figured I might buy object desktop but then realized this isn't part of the package.  Seems like an odd mistake to me.  I was going to pay more mainly for just theses 2 items and I might have or might not have used the other features.  but since they are separate I'm going to buy them individually and you get less money out of the deal.

AVG has just launched “Crumble” which is an extension for Chrome that blocks third-party behavior tracking on the web when it is active.

As you all know, cookies (hence the name ‘Crumble’) can be good/bad or both. Functionally they can be necessary to enable site functionality…but are often abused to create tracking profiles for your browsing on the net. I know how to do the clock part but I am trying to show a hand which rotates 6 degrees (1 minute) every 1week/7days   -   in short I need a script so the hand only moves 6 degrees  per week      18 degrees in 3 weeks ect    360 degrees shows 60 weeks

 

sorry if I have missed something simple but I have brain freeze right now.

Hello, I have installed Deskscapes 8. I followed the link to stardock after I got the (Not suitable decoder fond) message. I understand the whole "Microsoft didn't include MPEG-2 on Win8."  The article mentions upgrading to/adding Windows Media Center which I have. Anyone know why my folder portals are just showing icons and no information about the file, such as filename?

 

I have checked all the settings and made sure they were at default.

Hey guys! I went today to reinstall and play some Gal Civ II and Sins. But I found that neither the stardock website nor the gamestop website (or app) show ANY purchase I have ever made! I was under the impression that Miscrosoft has always said they would never send out emails but a friend received one.  I tried searching to see if I could verifly the validity of the email but could not.  Has anyone else received such an email and is anyone aware that Miscrosoft has changed their policy of not releasing emails?

I'm taking the approach that it's more than likely SPAM or such.

Is it possible to disable the way Fences handles alt-dragging a folder to the desktop by automatically creating a Fences folder group on the desktop?

I'd like to revert to Windows 8.1's default behaviour where alt-dragging a folder to the desktop simply creates a shortcut to that folder.

Hello Everybody

I have Issue with windows 8.1 

Fences got buggy and i don't know why ???

Is it any fix for that bug 

the problem is the windows Explorer keep restarting and after loop 

message appears fence can't start and disabled for temp 




also i've tried to lunch it manually it's said fences does not appear to be loaded you may need to reinstall fences.
