I use a zoomer dock with icons for folders that drop down as lists when I click on them. Some programs won't run from the dropdown list. For instance, with Comodo Internet Security I receive error msg

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Comodo\Comodo Internet Security\cfp.exe

The specified path does not exist

Check the path and try again."

Of course, that path doen't exist, because Comodo installs in C:\program files\Comodo...etc, not in C:\program Files (x86)!

Hi Stardock Users. My IconPackager won't show the Control Panel Icons section anymore for some reason? I've tried:

- Closing/opening the program (several times)
- I uninstall/reinstall the program (twice)
- Turning the computer off/on again (who knows how many times?!)

All have failed to resolve my issue - please help I'm out of ideas as to how to fix it... Are any all of you users experiencing the same problem? Or am I the only one? Hopefuly it's easily fi...

1. Go to program files and delete the foxit directory

2. search you computer for 'npFoxitReaderPlugin.dll' and 'FoxitReaderOCX.ocx', delete any copies of them that you find.

Just a bit more of progress. We have busy days home now. I have considered very carefully what you folks said on the prior thread. I have changed a colour and lightning a bit and removed the tubes in the corners away. I really wanned do something more complicated. But when using it I realize that less is better. I regularly get emails from Emsisoft about updated versions of their software and other articles of interest. I've used Emsisoft on several occasions to clean out infected computers at Crossroads and it works quite well. So when I got this one in my email I thought it a good idea to put it out there for people to see. This ransomware stuff is no joke!

i have just recieved a subsciption for deskscapes 3.50 and would like to know for how long is the subscription and if i had a problem with my computer and had reinstalled windows would i have to be on the internet to activate the program again or just install it with the serial number that i have recieved from stardock without being on the internet.i mean to reinstall the program without internet.

Hey guys, recently found this awesome program but I can only get it to half work!

I'm not sure where I am going wrong so I could use some assistance, it'd be much appreciated if anyone could help

I'm having a hell of a time with moving and resizing fences.  Yesterday I loaded the recent versions of fences and Start 8 on my new computer with Windows 8.  Everything looks great but these problems continue.  I try clicking, enlarging the borders from the top, the sides, and the bottom.  I single click, double and triple click.  Anyone else have any ideas about this or is this just a temporary glitch on a new version?

Hello, Stardock!

 

Now that WindowsFX 5.1 is out, I don't want the program to simply be given up on, and I would certainly like to see future updates including more animations. One such animation that would terrific to see would be a Mac style minimize animation. Also, a previous poster suggested animations within your browser, I think that too would also be nice. I was dragging a fence off the side edge of my monitor and it is gone. Where did it go? Can I do a search for it and find it? I can grab fences and move them around or move all of them off my monitor, but this one particular fence seems to be totally gone.

I fired up my Windows 2003 Small Business Server the other day (finally got a hub so I had a wire for it) and discovered that years ago when I last used it I had installed ClamWin AV.  Well, I decided to snoop around to see why I was using it, besides it being free for a server, and it seems to have good marks. I found it interesting that it says it will run side-by-side with any of several AV products.

This morning I brought my dog Bailey to work.  As I was talking on the phone while she scampered around, she went out on the “frozen” pond. Moments later, I heard a crash and looked up and saw that she had fallen in.  For a moment, she struggled to get out of the water back onto the ice but then slipped and fell further and got stuck under the ice.
