Hey guys, quick question. I'm thinking about just purchasing Windowblinds (since my ODNT subscription expired and I can't see spending $50 when I use only one of the programs now). Will there be any issues with my current install?

Here's a really funny way to break Notepad that a coworker showed me this morning. I bet this is one of those jokes that's been around for ages, but this was the first I ever heard of it, so it's new to me.

This actually works. It will not crash your computer, it just breaks Notepad in that it causes it to display very oddly. No perm damage comes of the following steps.

A strange question.

I recently renewed my Object Desktop subscription directly with Stardock instead of going to GameStop and using their "updated" version of Impulse.  I uninstalled all of my Stardock software (not games) that I had previously maintained using Impulse and installed the new version of Stardock Central.  When I downloaded all of the applications that came up using that program I noticed that several of the older programs were not installed (I'm assuming these wer...

I have a great week taken some great photos (even if I do say so) and would like to share them with you on this great site.

i mainly use a Pentax K30 this week using a Pentax 35mm auto focus lens, Pentax DA 1:28 40 mm lens and a Pentax 50-200mm lens

How do I refresh the stacks I've made after I change a setting such as the fan setting?

It seems that once a stack is created I can't edit any of my original settings.

What happened to Global Warming?

When I put my first above ground pool in around the late 90's we were able to open it in April and start swimming in May.

Now my pool is just opened and still not warm enough to swim in

 

I'd like some global warming back...

Fences crashes with Windows Exploer recently (started crashing about 2 weeks ago)

I cannot use Fences anymore if it is not fixed. It actually crashes with Windows Explorer and the computer is becoming really slow. I tried re-installing after uninstallation AND I CANNOT EVEN UNINSTALL IT NOW.

I have already checked virus and my computer is bought in 7 months. So I believe there is problem with Fences now and want it fixed asap.

On my previous version of Windows 10 Pro Technical preview DeskScapes worked fine. I got an update last night of Windows 10 Pro this update is build 10041 now and now my desktop is not animated, it will just show it as a regular background of the animated picture, it won't move. I re-installed DeskScapes and everything. Any suggestions or anything you guys know what I can do to make it work? Thank you in advanced.

Hi,

 

I've run into a minor inconvenience with Fences 2's automatic sorting feature: it sorts shortcuts with a digit at the end (think a sequel) before shortcuts with no digits. I have this issue with many games, for example "GRID 2" comes before "GRID" or "Half-Life 2" before "Half-Life". 

It's not a big problem, but it bothers me when I'm looking at my desktop.

after installing windowBlinds 8  i get a error message when trying to apply new skin ( any skin ) : Problem detected window shows up with the follwing message : windowBlinds does not appear to be installed correctly on your machine. I have tryed rebooting , reinstalling and rebooting .. same message. Any one knoew how to fix this _

The start menu only displays the left side of the skin. The right side shows the fonts but not the skin. Upgraded to WB 8.1 but still has the same issue. I am using win7 64bit. Can anyone help? Thanks

I keep trying to install Fences, but when I go to activate it, it comes back telling me that Fences is not associated with my Stardock account. But when I log into my Stardock account, it definitely shows me Fences under my order history -- why can't I get it to recognize when I try to activate it? I've tried with my product key, too, and it still comes back saying the product key is not associated with that email address -- but it's the same address I used when I purchased my licens...
