Hi there,

I recently moved to a new office, and took my 2 monitors with me.

Now, when Sort is enabled, Fences continuously relocates all my desktop icons (not ones in fences) to my 2nd monitor. I can find no way to get them to stay on the primary monitor, despite it being designated as such and despite every other Windows program treating it as such.

The only option is to turn off Sort and manually relocate them, but that's not ideal because as additional icons get added to the desk...

Has SD changed this in the last year or so??  

 

I used to be able back up my executables and in then re-load them without having to validate on their damn server.

 

I've been sending them a renewal fee for over 10 years;  while not really using the products all that much.

 

I had decided that this would be my last year since there t not enough NEW stuff that I need and/or want.

I am working with V2.12 of Fences. I have a particular fence/icon layout saved in a snapshot. When I undock and re-dock my laptop it usually restores to my "3 monitor" configuration. However there are times when I dock that the fence/icon layout is different and when I select Restore Snapshot for my "3 monitor" layout, it snaps briefly to the layout and then requickly reverts to the previous layout.

I am at the same resolution that I always have been but I can't get the layout to snap to ...

I use Fences and love it. The features I like is I can open the fences app and I can adjust the sliders to make the fences darker or off so my icons are in fences but you can see the fence. I always change the color to see the dark fences so I can see how they are lined up.




I just had to do a fresh install of Win 7 so I had to reinstall all my programs, I installed fences and everything is different. The desktop Icons isn't little brown fence sticks it's a big "F" and when I cli...

It happens constantly, everytime I close a window for some reason I cannot make the tabbed dock to show up when hovering on it and I need to either click on the desktop several times or click on some other window to make it work.

Also moving tabbed docks from one monitor to the next takes quite some time, is really inconsistent and unpredictable.

Still the problem when trying to close the settings dialog by hitting the "X" button is unresolved

In Windows 8 ObjectDock, Fences etc. are by default delayed to show up, and with a SSD drive it is unacceptable to wait several seconds for the desktop icons and ObjectDock to shows up.

The delay for startup applications can be disabled in the registry to have ObjectDock etc. to show up asp - link.

Why are Stardock not aware of this?

One of those annoying bugs that pops up once a month or so with Fences. This time a simple restart didn't return things to normal.

I have a dual monitor setup, with fences only set up on one monitor. I also use Fence's 'desktop pages' feature. 

 

Today, I attempted to create a folder on my desktop (right clicking, "create new - folder", etc). When I entered a name for the folder, about 10 icons all from the same fence (which was on a different 'desktop page...

I have been having an annoying problem where sometimes when you open up a minimized window from the dock, the window freezes for a few seconds. It happens randomly but commonly enough for me to want to fix it- I think it may involve the animation when maximizing, as the window appears blurry during the time it is frozen. Does anyone else have any insight to this problem?

So I log on yesterday and notice that my fences which used to be lined up across the top of my desktop with a small space in between are all of a sudden overlapping one another. After some basic testing it seems the icon spacing inside my fences has somehow changed and has made my fences significantly wider. Assuming something changed it in Windows and fences was simply mirroring the change I checked there and noticed icon spacing in Windows is significantly smaller than it is inside the fences ...

I got a brand new Dell inspiron 15 7000series touch screen laptop my issue is that everytime i try to install windowfx my laptop screen starts blinking black for like 30sec and then it sign me out of windows 8 when i try to sign back in to window i get the same issue so the only way to fix this problem is to go to safe mode and uninstall windowfx can anyone please help me with some info in how to fix this problem i love windowfx is one of the best app on stardock so this is a serious problem sta...
