A couple of nights ago I had a Paragon HDM backup fail whilst processing the spinning disk in my gaming rig with the message "VSS: Can't read volume data. (Source: Hard Disk Manager)". Research suggested that the disk was probably failing and it was just a matter of time. CrystalDiskInfo reported a 'Current Pending Sector Count' of 1 and further digging revealed that that too might indicate a disk on the verge of failing, at least badly enough to confuse Windows. SoundPackager Crashes At Installation & Startup But Found A Fix [Win7, x64]
I upgraded to Object Desktop from WB7 yesterday and everything installed fine excpet SoundPackager.
During installation, I got two error messages that's got to do with "regsvr32". After the installation, when
I ran SP, it just crashed. Since I know a little programming, I know that "regsvr32" is used to register DLL's
and OCX'es so I went into SP's installation directory and tried to find some problem DLL's or OCX'es. Apart
from the .NET DLL's, I found the DirectSkin control wbocx32....![]()

Theme Manager
Hi everyone, does anyone know anything about Theme Manage (I know, dumb question). Anyway I download Theme Manager from "my downloads" page but it doesn't work very well. It says I don't have Log In Studio or Curser FX when I do. I download suites but they don't open. It's like I'm missing an update or a program of something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Running Windows 7, 64bit. All other SD programs work great.

Takes up 25% cpu
Deskscapes 3 works fine on my windows 7 ultimate system.
However when I try to use deskscapes 8.2 every time I open explorer it adds 25% cpu load to the explorer process. If I run two instances of explorer it takes 50%, 3 = 75% etc. The moment I uninstall deskscapes it all returns to normal.
Even if I disable deskscapes without uninstalling I still have the problem.![]()

Explorer.exe
I'm getting multiple instances of explorer.exe which is shooting up my CPU to 50-75%. Does anybody know what is causing this? Thanks.![]()

Start Menu dissapears
Hi everyone.
Love ObjectDock. I use it with the windows taskbar hidden and have link to the start menu on OD, and when I click the start menu the start menu has always appeared.
However, it doesn't now. It appears to have moved to beyond the right side of the screen. I have set up another user account on my pc to test and the same result.
Can anyone shed light on this and of course methods to fix.

Changing the Name of a Windowblind skin
I am cleaning up my wb skins and have several, that when loaded into Windowblinds show up as "Unknown" with no creator or author name and I would like to name it according to the file name. How do I do that? I am using a very old copy of WB which is 5.1. I am sure there have been changes since that version, but that is what I have and am using and have no complaints with it.
Any insight into how to do this would be helpful.
