While cruising through Ben's Bargains this morning, I ran across this, which while not the latest and greatest, it is a great (cheap) deal if you want or need such software.

 It should be a great way to get your feet wet using Adobe Software without spending a fortune. Heck, who knows, maybe I'll make another wallpaper.

 Note that it may be a huge download, it's taking me forever at 6Mbs.

I have the Sort Fence option set to none and yet every time I try to reposition an icon within a fence they don't stick where I want them. If I have a dozen icons within a fence and I want one or two icons to remain next to each other, it seems like every time I move one icon to where I want it to go, the others all change their order. I have a visual bug, which is kinda frustrating. Every time i switch between desktops the icon image disappears on the icons which is on the desktop itself, but not in the ones that are folder portals. 

Hope someone has a fix for this.

So Windowblinds can already do a skin wide hue and colour adjustment.

Why not allow individual elements to be adjusted? Some people might just want the close button shifted to a different colour but the rest the same.

Another interesting thought, could 'regions' of graphics used in a skin be done with another 'magic' colour - like magic pink used to be (still is?) transparent.

But instead, it's a colour that gets automatically swapped with the user's selected co...

I used TClock 2010 for quite some time now without problem.  Now that I installed WindowBlinds (8.0.6) this system tray clock is not able to show a transparent background. I've tried to find in Skin Studio (I'm a newbie and never really designed skins) where I could make it transparent again but no luck.  I am using Lantana 2.  There are no settings in TClock 2010 for transparancy, it's enabled by default.

Guys, I can't imagine why Jorge hasn't made an announcement, but I found out today, via Wizard1956, that Winstep Xtreme has been updated.

Some of you know Kris Kwilas as Nakor around here.  He’s been with Stardock since, I think, 1996.  Last week he’s moved from our VP of Technology to being a consultant. He’s going off to do new and great things.  It’s been a long planned move. He gave me a 2 year notice that he was eventually going to do it.  But I feel like my right arm is missing.

Can't switch folder using the "Go To Folder" (Inbox, Sent, Thrash) if using Elemental forums "Private Messages" interface (http://forums.elementalgame.com/pm). Seems to work fine if using Stardock forums "Private Messages" interface (http://forums.stardock.com/pm).

In ObjectDock version 1.9, an autohidden tabbed dock would display when the mouse was moved to the top of the screen at a horizontal position that corresponded to anywhere the dock was "hiding" (i.e. not just over the tabs).

In version 2 I have to move the mouse over the tabs themselves, which I find less convenient, and I can't see any reason why this change was made.

Hi,

Can you please advise what specs are used to encode/decode the audio, eg:

- 2CH,

- Multi Channel, and

- Multi Channel with "Use lossless compression when sending more that two channel audio (Will increase delay slightly)"




...or is the format transmitted that set by the sending PC's Windows Sound setting?

Hi,

I have just bought WindowBlinds 8.05 and installed it on my both Windows 8.1 update computers and it doesn't work.

No icon appears in the task bar (even with the correct option actiavted).

When I try to launch WindowBlinds, and apply a theme, I got the following error :

Problem detected

WindowBlinds does not appear to be installed correctly on your machine. Would you like to try to fix this issue now?

Even if I click on Yes, nothing is starting.

Can you help me, plea...

I'm sort of new to the game but i understand the mechanics but I have played at least 3 full games now and i dont understand what constitutes a military victory. I understand you can set conditions like the occupation and the diplomatic victory i understand that, but what the hell makes a military victory!?
