It has come to our attention that some people may have had issues with some apps and WB and opted not to tell anyone about it.

Obviously we would like to know about them so we can resolve the issues.

If you have had an issue with an app caused by being skinned by WB, please post the following information in this thread:

1) The app name

2) The OS you are using

3) The theme you are using

4) The problem you have encountered

5) If you did report it to support a ticket number wou...

I finally made the jump to a new computer a few weeks back (Surface Pro 3) and managed to get my programs and personal items transferred over.  All is well.  Except, when I installed Windowblinds, all of the themes reduce the size of the title bar, text, icons, everything down so small that it is hard to read the screen.  I never have seen this issue before.  I have adjusted the "Make text or other items larger or smaller" on the screen resolution page, but that only makes a ...

Does anybody know how to make snow or leaves (a custom picture would be best) falling on the desktop?  I do not want to make an animated wallpaper or a screensaver.  Ideally, the snow would be falling over each window while I am working on the computer.  Screensavers do not allow the background to change while the snow is falling and animated wallpapers stay in the background.  I would like it in the foreground.  Please Help!

There are hundreds of animations of hybercubes online, and for my birthday (which is in november) I would like the mindfuck of a hypercube as a dream. As a composer I am familiar with software, but making a dream? not for me... so if you can help me out that would be great! 1080p ofcourse otherwise it's a waste of time

OK, so I have been playing with Windows 8 and 8.1 for the last few weeks. I got a bit feed up with the Metro UI so I installed Classic Shell. Got confused about all of the options so I installed Start 8. Easy to use, it does what I need. Looking to buy Start 8 here soon. So my question is what is Metro for when I use Start 8? Just a watse of hard drive space and coding?

Oh, Starkers - Windows 8 is not faster under the hood than 7 in my experience so far. Painfully slow.

Running Windows 8.1 64; Fences 2.13

Computer is 1.40GHz, 4GB RAM, 125 GB SSD, laptop

 

When windows starts up, Fences doesn't activate--nor are there any desktop icons--until I right-click on the desktop or start windows explorer. Quick hide is not enabled.

 

I have tried everything I can think of: starting from registry; starting as task; starting as service; starting as start-up folder link. I have uninstalled---removing every registry reference, folder, and file--...

Hi,

 

I am trying to use Object Desktop Manager to update my software. It tells me that I have updates for Tiles and WindowBlinds8 to install, however I keep receiving the 'Problem: Code 123" message.

 

I have downloaded and installed the latest version of Object Desktop Manager. I am running Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit.

I can't seem to get a shortcut to anything bought via the Windows 8 App Store to go into ObjectDock. Can anyone help me?

I hit Alt+F4 once too often and my tabbed dock (the only one I have) closed.  The only way I could get it back was to reboot Win7.  The tray icon was still there but from that I could only open the OD Confgurator window; nothing I tried there would get my dock to reappear.

This seems like a bug but perhaps I am missing something.  What could it be?

i purchased fences, but have a new computer and can't upload the program even though i still have my unique key. do i need to purchase the program again?

I have downloaded Start 8 and rebooted. There is no change to the old start button.

WidnowFX does not work with Windows 10. I am not complaining, I know its the preview, just letting the developer know. 

To be more specific the windows animations don't work. Everything else seems to work. 

One thing that definitely needs fixing is transparency. I want for example if I made explorer transparent

then close and reopen it it remembers my transparency setting. Right now it doesn't.

These are all the entries for the WinCustomize Fun Halloween Contest 2014 we received.  Not bad at all!

I went through all the galleries and I'm pretty sure I linked all of them, but if you see anything missing please let me know as soon as possible.  We'll start judging  soon and get the winners announced.

Thanks for everyone who contributed.  It was fun and we got some more great skins in the galleries for everyone to use and enjoy.  That is the best part...
