There are simply too many master skins and too few other skins.  Front skin page.... 2/3 are master?

And for some reason, the windowblind skinners are the majority of the master skinners on wincustomize.  Just look at all the other stardock products that have a lot of skins that are.... free?  Maybe Windowblinds should be free, and stardock could make their money from the subsidizing/distribution of the skins themselves.  I dunno, but I am getting leary of continuing my su...

Yeah, I know we have a thread for Windows 10. I just wanted to start my own thread instead of hijacking the other thread.

So historically everyone knows I badmouth a new version of Windows before it comes out, than later down the road I praise that version of Windows like the best thing since sliced bread.

Sometime today the Windows Insider Program will launch and people will be able to download the Windows 10 Technical Preview.

Windows Insider Program: http://preview.windows.com/

It should be noted that this is a Technical Preview and should not be installed for use as your main operating system.  If you aren't familiar with any of this, I'd advise just waiting until next year when it fully released.

Well i thought this would be a good post since we also had some interesting posts about the can looking like macintosh pro.
So i thought i make a post about the new design of the new alienware PC.
I think the whole shape and form of it looks pretty amazing despite whats build into it.
This thing is seriously looking like alientech   The shape reminds me of Dario Arnaez logo a bit.

Just finished upgrading from 8.1 to windows 10 and deskscapes continues to work no issues....

Is there a way to restore a game that was archived with impulse? The file extension is .impulse and I know they are gone now. Gamestop seems to have taken it over...however...cannot get the app to work (to re-download the game)...after spending 2 hours on the phone with their "support" to no avail....they are clueless(sadly)...it appears my only option is to try to open this old archived version I have.

Any help appreciated

I have not talent in this area at all.  And I think it would be really cool to have an animated wallpaper/screensaver and custom login screen for my windows 7 workstation.

Is there someone that would help me out with creating such a thing from a simple existing logo?  I was thinking of something simple such as a #d spinning logo.

When you check the digital signature of 2.13 version of Fences (the latest I believe), the hash is done using MD5.  Almost every other software I checked is using SHA1.  Can you please change the hash algorithm for the signature to be SHA1?  I think many organizations are being encouraged on many fronts to actually move to SHA2 (any variant - but SHA256 would be best).  Thanks...

I've got WindowBlinds 8.06 (029 x64 Windows 8 Edition). I have a number of wallpapers that are larger than my 1920x1080 screen resolution. Windows native wallpaper display deals with these just fine when set to 'Fit'. Windowsblinds doesn't seem to have a setting that can deal with these tho. 'Smart' results in the wallpapers being displayed at, as far as I can tell, their native resolution, so a 2000x2000 image, for example, loses nearly half the picture. That doesn't...

Hi. I'm having problems activating Start8 and ModenMix following an uninstall and re-install of both apps.

The final part of the install for each of this applications asks for the product key - when I enter the key and click on 'activate' the dialog box just shows the spinning 'processing' symbol and gets no further (I've left it trying to activate for over 30 mins, just in case!, but ended up having to end the task)

Any help would be appreciated...

After doing a long search without finding anything, I would ask if anyone would be kind enough to tell me if there is a way to achieve this effect (no transparency, no blur, no glow) without utilize the high contrast themes (on green icon was the cursor, but has not appeared in screenshot):

I see the "no" symbol (circle with a line through it).

I use 2.13 with w8.1 x64.

Been slacking a bit as of late on the ol' WB production...

I thought I might explain why... I have been working for a few Music Software companies designing new interfaces for their upcoming software plugins and libraries.

I've downloaded an xtreme theme file, but I can't figure out how to install it. What's the secret? Is there an FAQ that tells me how to install the various file types?
