How Do You Organize and Backup Your Data?
I just got a new ioSafe 214 and figured now was a good time to reevaluate how I organize and backup my data. I have a good hardware and cloud backup solution, but organizing the data is always what gives me trouble. Scary enough for a halloween theme?? WIP thread
Hi,
is something like that scary enough:!?
Or does it have to be even more crazy. ??
Wallpapers seem to have such a big concurence. Thats why i want to submit a blind too.
My goal is to make a theme that a healthy ghost won`t use .
Halloween has also the aspect to scare ghosts , but its not easy to do such a thing. Cause they simply don' t exist.
Started a Work-in-progress post with this 1st comment. At least i hope so.

Need help downloading
Hi folks I recently puchased a skin for window blinds. It shows it in my down load area but will now allow me to download it. It sends me to another page or just times out. Though I can go to the same page and download any of the programs I have puchased. Here is the skin.

We were watching the season premiere of the The Big Bang Theory and I saw the promos for a new show Scorpion, which would come on after. It didn't look too bad so I decided to watch and see if it was any good.

Folder Portal in 2.01 - View>Details missing after a reboot.
I am running the trial version on Windows 7 Enterprise SP1, with Bitlocker
My Folder Portal is to a Network Location.
All is well until I re-boot the PC.
Thereafter, all I have is a fence, with the title, but nothing in it. I can double-click the title bar and get back to the Network Location but I cannot get any detail back
A Refresh does nothing.
I can then create a new Folder Portal to the same Network Location and all the details appear.
So at this stage, I have a secondary...![]()

Disable Auto-Arrange
When will you add the ability to disable "auto-arrange" feature?
Creating a fence for each icon individually so they stay in place is a bit of overkill to get what should be a simple check box.
I'm guessing here, but most people who are looking to enforce some order upon their icons will want the icons to go exactly where they place them.
I'm just a bit OCD and having to hunt down an icon that moved is extremely annoying.![]()

How do I stop Fences from moving and / or re-arrange the icons next to the icons for which I am creating a new Fence?

Sometime today the Windows Insider Program will launch and people will be able to download the Windows 10 Technical Preview.

Windows 8 gets its shadows!
My desktop has 3 monitors with lots and lots of windows. On Windows 8, it gets really fatiguing picking out the active window. That’s because Windows 8, unlike Windows 7, doesn’t have shadows. It’s one of my biggest pet peeves with Windows 8 visually.
This wasn’t a problem with Windows 7 because each window had its own drop shadow which changed based on what was the active window. As a result, at a glance, you could pick out the active window.

Turn off auto arrange of icons within fence on Fences Pro
Just upgraded to fences pro in order to have the ability to arrange icons within a fence. It appeared on your fences page that this was one of the benefits of the getting the upgraded version.
However, it looks like there is no way to do this, and I am forced to use one of the default windows sort options inside the fence. Is this correct?

windows 10 start menu glitch
I know stardock dont support windows unless it rtm.
but still decided to list the problem so others know.
