I updated my setup with a 30 inch IPS monitor and felt the need to redo the whole shebang.

 

Thought it a good time to share setup shots. Anyone?

Hi,

I am experiencing a problem with the latest Firefox version (32.0) released September 2014 and what I imagine is a software conflict with WindowBlinds (although it could be any of the Stardock software packages). I have checked Stardock Central and I have the latest versions of the Stardock products I use. My OS is Windows 8.1. You can see my problem below:

 



 

New tabs in the browser become corrupted / blurred to the point the tab title becomes totally unreadable. ...

Object dock is set to load on startup, but does not load.

When I manually start it up, it appears in the bottom right corner tray, and freezes up my computer for a min or so. After it comes back, the icon disapears from the bottom corner, and is not in the tray either.

I have tried uninstalling (completely), and that did not help. Restarting also did not help.

I am running Windows 7 64bit (all updated)

Any help is appreciated!

I have a Windows 8.1 lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch with 2550 wide IPS screen.  I also dock to two Dell 24" monitors through a Lenovo USB3.0 Hub.

I had a similar configuration before this except my Lenovo then had 1600x900 screen and windows 8.

In my current configuration, Fences is useless.  Everytime I boot or switch to or from docked, the fences resize to some strange screen size (maybe the imaginary number).  They might be huge, overlapping and running off the edge of t...

Just set up my face-book page, because its required for a virtual seminar series I'm participating in. The teacher stated that he has sent invites to private facepages that are designed as a venue for classmates to share, network, etc.  I cannot figure out how to accept the request and get on board.  I've read the docs at ehow, and watched a vid on face-book... nada help. Any tips that will help me cut thru the malarky?

I have had Fences 2.12 on my one computer, 2 monitors, happily for a long time. Today I switched one of the monitors for my husband's old monitor. I had had 2 17" monitors, now have 1 17" and 1 27" (I know, looks weird). My problem now is that I have all the fences (5) on the small monitor and wanted to move them to the large monitor. I am running Deskscapes 3.5 on Windows 7 with multiple monitors. I have the rotation time set fairly long so I can analyse the photos as I do other things. The photos have been custom sized (in my case 3,000 x 900) and one monitor is smaller than the other (smaller one, right hand side if that matters). Everything works absolutely great.

Is there a way to advance to the next photo if I really am tired of looking at the current one? I don't even see a command for it if I am in the config. ...

This may have been asked before, but since I just purchased a new laptop with Windows 8 on it, what Object Desktop apps (besides the obvious, Start 8, Decor 8, and Deskscapes), are compatible and can be used on this new OS? Does Stardock intend to make all their software compatible with Windows 8? Is Windowblinds going to be usable on it if it isn't already?

Just curious where everyone gets their themes. I've downloaded pretty much all of the themes on WinCustomize that I like, but I'm always looking for more. Are there any other resources out there that I should check out?

Hello, 

I installed the Mac OS X theme and love it, but I noticed that I could no longer open any programs. Notepad for instance would say it stopped responding and close. Other programs simply would not open at all. When I would try to open a program the screen would turn blue (not a BSOD) for a second and return to the desktop. The only thing that would open was the WindowBlinds program itself and Google Chrome. I had to use a system restore point to get Windows back to normal.

So I have a choice here. And I need some advice as I have found you all here to be the best when it comes to these things.

Basically I am having a hard time choosing what Windows system to use.

Let me start by saying I have a Pentium dual core CPU, 4 GB of RAM, and onboard video, and a 120 GB hard drive. Nothing fancy or powerful.
