Before I left on vacation I went and bought myself a late birthday present which was the Nokia Lumia 920 smartphone running Windows Phone 8.  It was a decision between the iPhone 5 and the Lumia 920.  I’ve mostly used iPhones over the past few years, but I did have a Windows Phone 7 device as well.  I liked it, but too many quirks made me return to the iPhone.

If I try to change the extension of a file on the desktop, Windows displays a warning dialog (as expected).  However, with Fences installed, the dialog appears briefly (fraction of a second) and then gets placed behind/under any open windows (i.e., bottom of the z-order).  Attempting to bring it to the foreground (by clicking on the title of the dialog) caused the dialog to again be moved to underneath.

Fences' Folder Portals feature is unavailable in classic mode. Please enable Aero to use this feature.

i just found winstep xtreme, and i'm trying to figure out if there is a way to skin a module.

i have a icon i want to use, that has a window in it, and i want to put the digital clock, histogram net, histogram cpu, and histogram ram meters in the windows. i've tried every thing i can find in the programs, but they wind up outside of the window.

first question can i do this?

second if so how do i do it, and do i need any other programs?

I submitted a new masterskin tonight, and to my horror , it was approved as a normal skin.. (not master)

I had to delete it and resubmit it, then suddenly it showed up as a master skin.

 

can someone please look into this? I still also have to reupload many times for normal uploads as the first ones go straight to moderation.

Haven't sliced it up or put it in SkinStudio, so I'm not sure if it will work, it's just a mockup, and I don't even have a start button yet, and I definitely don't have a name.  Anybody have any ideas?

I have an MSI MOBO which sports the new UEFI BIOS. I wondered how many others have it now?

 

I never see anyone talking about it.

 

You can access the BIOS from within Windows. Even from a smart phone.

 

You can surf the net from within the BIOS even!

 

Any experience with UEFI BIOS, let's hear it.

1. Go to program files and delete the foxit directory

2. search you computer for 'npFoxitReaderPlugin.dll' and 'FoxitReaderOCX.ocx', delete any copies of them that you find.

When I first purchased OD+2 the configurations screen with all the settings was showing and working just fine but now when I right click taskbar Icon and then click 'Configure Objectdock...' I get nothing at all. The busy icon on my cursor is on for like a second and then nothing at all.

I can add to the dock but can't get to the main settings screen as it doesn't show, no matter what I have tried.

Hello PPL. Please help an old blokey who has been trying for many hours to download, install, and run a windows blind so that it works..  I have downloaded it so many times it is now all over the place in umpteen folders,  when i download it, it goes straight in to winzip and from there i have bo idea what to do with it,Zip it,, Unzip it,, move it,, zip it again, and then what do i do with it,, all i have managed to do so far is change the colours of my message boxes,,,, Whooopeeeee do...

Hello,

I play a couple of older games and use some software that apparently must turn my Windows 7 Aero desktop into classic mode while playing the game or using the software.

Underneath my game just now I heard a couple of windows error sounds and so I quit my game and found a couple of Fences error messages telling me that it's folder portal feature is not available in classic mode.

That's fine and all, I don't really care, but I want to stop these messages witho...

Since most of the skinners here (and others) use Dropbox for file transfer, etc. I thought you might be interested in learning about this, although I don’t know how much good it will do you since while you can view the files,

As always, AERO disabled while running/working with FSX ... so the only skin of 'note' is the QANTAS aircraft one [it's not real...as the aircraft is a Tupolev Tu-114].
