I think a review for the paid varieties will be coming in the future, but this review on gHacks goes into a good/reasonable amount of detail and summarizes the test findings in a tabular form which was quite welcome.

The first good sign was that the comparison criteria were clearly stated at the onset, as well as definitions of the various types of backup schemes. Brinkmann also made clear which software was being tested and which wasn’t.

Hi,

Im searching a way to create a non recolorable skin / Just for fun. This is my first attempt to make one ( using simply no colors so you can`t recolor it).

BTW: do someone know how to remove damn unwanted startupprgorams like this damn help head at right button.?

Basicly I forgot I had a stardock account on my old email, and made a new account with my new email. Now I can't change the email and I can't see any way to delete the new account. Any help would be appreciated.

I was in the best shape of my life and doing fine. Taking pictures of sunsets and loving peaceful bike rides...

At mid May a few days after my glorious birthday I busted my ribs and back. (not saying how) since then I haven't been able to do anything and I've been getting weaker and weaker as I sit and do nothing. Evengoing down stairs makes me wobbly. Playing games and writing and taking pain pills and staying up till 4,5,6:00AM is what my life is now, in a rut.

I did the free offer from Bitdefender and all was good but it didn't quite do the job it was intended for. I got better results using Avast which I went back to. Unfortunately Bit defender is a real PITA to remove. I was able to uninstall it using ASC's uninstaller but two folders remain and I can't delete them. Tried stopping processes in Task Manager but all I get is 'access denied'. Tried taking ownership but that doesn't work either. I remember, vaguely, something abo...

Robin Williams…the funniest comedian and fine actor is gone. He died this morning.

Lately he’d gone into rehab to help him deal with Depression.

I’m sure we all have great memories of him in his routines, in Mork and Mindy…Mrs. Doubtfire, Good Will Hunting…

I’ll never forget what he did for Christopher Reeves and his family.

Anyway, a true great is gone. I’m having a really hard time wrapping my head around this one.

Everytime I try and load a windowblinds skin it keeps saying this.

I have the most updated WB6 and I have Vista, and am using Vista Ready Skins, also I have tried loading it as a wba and switching it to a zip folder. neither work for me. What is wrong?

Hello guys,
Im experiencing this for a while now and i wonder if anyone has a quick tip on how i could work around this problem 
My all Programs in Start8 do not show any Font even on mouseover

I have OD 2 set up on my old machine. How do I transfer it over to my new laptop. The old machine is dying and I don't want to take all the time to add the different icons, etc. I have it just right now?

With pretty much all the themes for WindowBlinds, the tabs in new firefox are unreadable. A few days ago my firefox got updated to version 29, and it has major interface changes. So now I wonder is this a theme problem, or a firefox problem, or windowblinds problem?

And how to solve this.

This is what I mean with 'tabs are unreadable':

I can't figure it out, but randomly some windows are automatically being "pinned" to always be on top. It's kind of maddening when switching between windows and one out of nowhere decides to be pinned.

Running Windows 8.1 64; Fences 2.13

Computer is 1.40GHz, 4GB RAM, 125 GB SSD, laptop

 

When windows starts up, Fences doesn't activate--nor are there any desktop icons--until I right-click on the desktop or start windows explorer. Quick hide is not enabled.

 

I have tried everything I can think of: starting from registry; starting as task; starting as service; starting as start-up folder link. I have uninstalled---removing every registry reference, folder, and file--...

My old machine is dying, I have purchased a new one and I would like to copy my menu (which is quite detailed) over to the new machine. How would I go about doing this. It takes way too much time to reinvent the wheel when it is as you want it.   I have installed OD 2.20 to the new machine, what files contain the setup? The old OD had  1 particular file you saved to... not sure how this one works.
