Because MS has ended support for XP (unless you’re the IRS), the devs of TrueCrypt has ended development of its software. When this notification came out, the wisely suspicious of hackers surfaced, but it’s true…TrueCrypt is dead. You can still get it, but it’s digitally signed with the warning (SourceForge). It will allow you to decrypt your encrypted files/disk, but you won’t be able to encrypt new files. The warning has instructions on how to move to MS’s BitLocker services.

All my subs are active and I can install all the applications individually, but object desktop application shows nothing.

 

I'm running Windows 8.1 64bit.

It's been a long time since I've been around...

 

I used to have a Stardock store account but I couldn't find its password, so I used the reset password link.  I noticed that I had to use an email address which I no longer use (but can still access:  byron-port at-sign toddcomp dot com) so after re-logging in I went to the page to change my email address to my current one:  byrontodd at-sign gmail dot com.

As title says, just started running windows 8.1 pro for the first time. So far along with Start8 and Fences, I am loving it. Anyone have any recommendations for other software?

I have looked at ModernMix, but so far I'm thinking if I don't find myself running any of the "Modern" apps, that will be something unneeded. So far I haven't been running any, but being this new to 8.1 I am not sure if I am going to end up getting them foisted upon me, whether I want them or not.

Hi guys, just purchased a couple of themes that apply a black font color to the desktop shortcuts which doesn't work so nice against my (mostly) dark wallpapers. I haven't been able to determine which option to edit in SkinStudio, any ideas? I guess I could also go individually through all of the options under Change system colors...

facing a small bug (in my opinion) WindowFX latest build which when you right click on any of the taskbar items the menu appears immediately and the animation appears later on. Using it with WindowBlinds 8.04

After the latest windows update this evening, Window Blinds would no longer allow Windows 8.1 to complete the boot up process.  All I would get is a black screen.  After booting to safe mode and changing Window Blinds to the default theme could I get Windows 8.1 to complete the boot up.  After I got Windows to boot up, I changed my theme back, then none of my programs would run including Photoshop CS6 and Office 2013.  I had to change the theme back to default.  Anybody ...

As promised in another thread (http://forums.stardock.com/452133), here is my personal list of bugs – as far as i remember it since this spans over several years of unfixed issues and it is most likely NOT complete yet; i will add stuff when i remember some more. I don't want to sort them automatically, I would like to move them around and lay them out myself. As it is now they snap "together", that is I can't spread the icons out.

 

Great product, coming back to fences after not using it for a while.
